Can we have a comfy Terror thread ?

Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?
Are there any supernatural elements you don't attribute to the mental state of the characters ?
What do you expect from the second season ?

>Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?
Would you accept it? Tongue's gross.

>Are there any supernatural elements you don't attribute to the mental state of the characters ?
It's already a supernatural fantasy, no one can build ships that big.

>What do you expect from the second season ?
California and the Pacific are wayyy too hot. Tuunbaq will die of heat stroke.

Such a great intro.
I really wanted more diving helmet antics.

There is no such thing as comfy Terror. Too cold, too much hunger.

>tv series women will NEVER understand

is it kino? thinking about watching it

youtube.com/watch?v=zYg8rEDT1RU

Name a more terrifying soundtrack, setting, and feeling then when this scene came about.

The being appears to get closer everytime it's viewed, was it really just the dudes corpse that fell earlier or something more?

Shit is cash

Absolutely. But it's obviously even better if you watch it swaddled in blankets on a cold, dark winter day.

this show sucked

Oh user we both know you're lying.

POOR
LITTLE
WHITE BOI

Currently reading the book, will rewatch the show afterwards.

>nothing happens, so I have to pretend liking it to distance myself from those darn kids and their flashy capeshit
>oh, and it's almost entirely about men, so as a /tvpol/ incel I'm obligated to like it
It's the same exact thing with Chernobyl. Being an edgy contrarian is the dumbest shit.

My favorite scene by far.

Have sex

Except it's well regarded fuckface, you're the contrarian here.

cringe

>Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?
Who cares it doesn't matter
>Are there any supernatural elements you don't attribute to the mental state of the characters ?
The fucking bear was retarded and didn't even need to be in the show to begin with
>What do you expect from the second season ?
A disaster. The real season 2 is Chernobyl

I think Tuunbaq rejected the offering because it’s already tied to a new owner (the woman). As far as I know doing that’s a no-no since she had to leave her group and become a loner at the end because of it. What I don’t fully get is how Hickey knew about the offering.

>it's another no one will listen to Crozier episode

Yes, I'm sure the majority of people really love the show if you go around asking a bunch of them in a public place. Definitely the epitome of main stream media.

i miss terror generals

The bear added an active component to the danger they were facing, and certainly made the show more dynamic. Completely relying on the muh hunger muh madness aspects would have felt played out far before the ending.

I wish they never showed the shitty CGI bear.

i wished it looked more like its described in the books than manbearpig tho

They'll have no opinion of it and those that do will have liked it, that's not contrarianism.

Only thing I wish they added was a scene when a lone Inuit boards the terror after they mass evacuate it. The image of a skeleton crew of soot-faced, woodsman-esque men emerging from below to crowd this Inuit only to be shoo’d back down below by an officer would have been pretty terrifying.

>What do you expect from the second season ?
dogshit made by different people dead set on modern ident*ty political fagging
even if they dont its still a massive downgrade in terms of setting itll be bad in comparison

How is it described in the book? More spooky?

>>nothing happens

Attached: 1541030522975.jpg (555x563, 47K)

it's a polar bear that has a disturbing long neck, small black eyes, large black teeth, it's a semon meat puppet, in the show it was just manbearpig

>het guys need to survive on their own
>turn cannibals to survive
>die anyway
kek

Wait, what do you mean different people ?

it's bloody drab and depressing and I like it

different showrunners, as far as im aware

>dont have cable
>$25 for one season
well the first episode was cool

It's free if you have amazon prime which has a free trial, also the piratebay.

meant for

>reading the book
>it's a Goodsir talks about fucking nothing chapter

It's my fiance's favorite show

Attached: absolute madman1.png (1280x720, 1.1M)

They are filming season 2 pretty close to my house. A buddy was an extra in it and beat the shit out of a jap POW.

>Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?
Because "fuck your offering I am a divine being"
>Are there any supernatural elements you don't attribute to the mental state of the characters ?
Tuunbaq
>What do you expect from the second season ?
Racism and white guilt.

I started watching it because of a woman.

twitter.com/petridishes/status/1113921112977682432

and her boyfriend? what does he think?

He says his favourite scene is at the very end. Where the little white boi is seen raising another man's child.

based, fuck white kids.

Based incel

god i wish i was an enormous walrus

You'd probably fall off the cliff like a twat lmao.

daily reminder that 5-7 crewmembers were confirmed to survive and join the eskymos, including Francis and James

Attached: cu.jpg (104x126, 3K)

>5-7 crewmembers were confirmed to survive

Wat?

a more interesting death than most humans

critics were raving about The Terror. what are you even saying

their descendants were found living with the eskymos by adventurers and gloryhunters irl, bearing striking similarities to them, as eskymos did not otherwise encounter any white folk who'd stay

In the books the bear tries to eat hickeys soul but spits it out because its so rotten
I think its the same here

>season two of the terror is going to be about japanese internment camps with george takei consulting

fun while it lasted i guess

Imma need source on that

>Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?

Because Hickey's sould was tainted and rotten, he was no shaman material

DAILY REMINDER CROZIER WAS GREAT IN FRINGE AND IN LOST IN SPACE

Attached: loscro.png (700x305, 408K)

at least it isnt another hall of cost series. probably will be season 3

Fuck that off and just wait until Taboo season 2 I suppose.

holy fuck lol

The first season was based on a very well written novel, I hope the second season is based on something as good.

Why did Tuunbaq reject the tongue offering ?
>because you don't offer your tongue. If you want to become a shaman of Tuunbaq, you offer up yourself and it will rip out your tongue in a kissing ceremony and use you as a blowpipe afterwards.

Are there any supernatural elements you don't attribute to the mental state of the characters ?
>According to the book, Tuunbaq is a very real extradimensional evil being summoned in a war of gods eons ago.

What do you expect from the second season ?
Nothing. Chernobyl is really the second season as stated already.

spotted the russian

I thought the bear looked too wierd. It should have not been shown too much and looked more realistic. But still huge as fuck and walking on two legs most of the time.

They were all horrible people so it was hard to care about their fate.

Wtf does those fatties eat in a frozen land that makes them so huge ?

this is false. Still have to buy it

Wrong.

No they werent

what country are you in

Australia, a country historically gypped by digital distribution with an anemic netflix and it's still on there.

i dont know what to tell you man. I have amazon prime with no additional subscriptions and it's not available for free in america

fish, seals, birbs

Werks for me, though If i recall correctly it's a co-production with same cable station so maybe this is the one time that Americans get the short end.
You'll have to torrent it i suppose.
