Tobey had the best character ark. In the other movies peter parker is a cool guy who gets power. In the first spiderman he is really a looser and has to learn to be responsible.

This, Holland had small bits of that but he doesn't really come across as a total loser like tobey. Meanwhile Garfield just turns peter into a total chad, especially after he gets the powers.

The only thing I didn't like about the Tobey version is that he was too serious. Spiderman is supposed to be goofy and witty

Tobey's character was the onlky one who felt like an actual person.
Garfield played a quippy Chad, Holland plays a wimpering fuccboi (also quippy).
I haven't seen Spiderverse cause the jerky animation style makes me wanna vomit.

Peter Parker was a chad in the comics. I don't know why everyone insists on him being some dorky loser. Because he was smart? He was a fit dude, and the chicks loved him. Betty Brant wanted his dick. In high school Liz Allen would have dropped Flash Thompson for Peter in a second if he gave her any interest. In college Gwen Stacy and Mary Jane Watson both were rivals for his affection. Plus you have Black Cat. Also he was bros with Human Torch.
