With all the gore, and scat being posted on Yea Forums tell us about some films that spark joy

Fun movie but the scene where they're driving the food truck and singing is pretty cringe

I don't know why but I can't into romance anime, Sort of feels forced; While they didn't spark joy I did like 5cm Per Second, and Garden of Worlds for how forlorn they were

Incredibles

I also like how meditative and forlorn both of those films are, though admittedly that style has become kind of a trite hallmark of Makoto Shinkai, the director of both of those movies. Have you actually seen Whisper of the Heart? I think it may change your mind on romance anime. Try The Wind Rises as well, along with Only Yesterday they're some of the most underrated films to come out of Studio Ghibli but also some of their best.

If you like forlorn animated kino, I also recommend Angel's Egg. It has this surreal, melancholy atmosphere and some really unique art. Probably my favorite animated film of all time.
