>Mention of THousand islands and its green skinned freaky inhabitants
>Mention of fishy people who breed with humans
>Large city of Asshai where its always dark and people learn dark magic, commit cannibalism
>But hey, Jamie fucks brienne
How can we stop the fattie and D&D
/GOT/
By not making unnecessary threads about noncanon shit
I want a tv series on Sothoryos, i seems like such a mysterious place. Like it showing westerosie settlers and explorers trying to learn more about it
because everything has to be boring and mundane in game of shit
heaven forbid normalfagged sheeple ever see something interesting on tv and that isn't trite soap opera bullshit
Breeders like the shallow things.
Bran and Gendry and Rickon and Joffrey and Tommen and Jojen and Dickon and Lancel and Loras are so handsome.
I don't want Dany to die bros...
where would you set up your story and which regions would you love to explore bros?
better map
>better map
nope
What's going on in the bottom-right?
post the better one
shitty edgy map
>no exploring kino
>we'll never get to read how far south sothoryos goes, what's the deal with the brindled men and what's on that continent/island except for jungle and sickness
>we'll never explore ulthos and learn if it's just an island or more
>we'll never go to asshai and find the secret why it's almost empty and there's no kids born there
>we'll never sail up the styx to stygai to see if there's really demons or if it's just stories
>we'll never find out why the thousand island islanders are scared of the sea
>no steppe riding kino on the plains of jogos nhai
>we'll never get to learn about yi ti and their first emperors
>we'll never get to read about the current yi ti civil war and what the yellow sorcerer king is doing in the far east
>no far far north books ever
>no far far east books either, no reading about the eastern equivalent of white walkers and all the shit happening beyond the five forts
Hell I'd be happy to learn the history about the Dothraki and what happened in the Red Waste, if what happened there was the same climate change shit that fucked those indo-persian cities beyond the bone mountains.
>entire world
So why do explorers never got to Essos by sailing west? Also it's a small as fuck planet.
STOP
>its literally just europe
goddamn, grrm is a hack
>/got/, You are an ill-made, spiteful little creature full of envy, lust, and low cunning.
>Jannie's laws give you the right to bear my name and display my colors since I cannot prove that you are not mine. And to teach me humility, the mods have condemned me to watch you waddle about wearing that proud lion that was my father's sigil and his father's before him.
>But neither mods nor jannies will ever compel me to let you turn Yea Forums into your whorehouse.
>Go, now. Speak no more of your rights to Yea Forums.
>Go!
>And one more thing: the next whore I catch in your bed I'll bang!
Is it impossible to reboot season 7 & 8? Or at least just season 8? The drop of quality is so embarrassing it's worse than season 4 to 5. Normies uprising when?
>Normies uprising when?
When the wolf kills the dragon
in retrospect, S5 just feels like filler.
S6 and onwards is just atrocious television.
the best we can hope for is 25 years down the line, GoT is rebooted after GRRM finishes the book series. Or, you know, read the books.
these maps are all fanfiction
>Carcosa
they are approved by martin and if you buy them, fattie gets money.
>i-it's fan fiction guys
The point of those mentions is how tales get warped into fantasies through word of mouth you absolute brainlent. Traders that traveled to Yi Ti probably spoke of the War of 5 Kings and how one of the kings was a literal savage werewolf(Robb Stark) descending from his throne in the cold dark North with an army of barbaric minions at his back to spread terror among the common folk of the 7 kingdoms while a kraken ascends from the depths of the ocean to claim dominion among the land folk(Greyjoys). People over at Asshai probably marvel at a half lion human demon hybrid(Lannister) that holds the iron throne and presides over the kingdoms. Tales het severely warped as they travel from one perso n to another and Im willing to bet Westeros might actually be the most interesting place on Earth on account of the WW
High IQ post.
Good, all that stuff gives the world character but explaining everything would make it boring.
Retard show watcher. There are infinitely tons of better shit happening outside of Westeros’ petty politics and white walkers. There are even Sothoryo’s versions of WW. There’s ice dragons in the oceans, a fucking civilization of wizards, etc.
Read the fucking books before you spill bullshit
>Im willing to bet Westeros might actually be the most interesting place on Earth on account of the WW
I don't know man, it seems the far East has its own WW with the Shrykes.
>LITERALLY believing nanny's bedtime stories
Are you retarded?
keep sucking martin's tiny cock.
He chose the plebiest setting.
What's the Black Stone?
A meteor?
Why are so many buildings made of it thorough the world?
only intelligent post ITT
You've clearly not read the books yourself so stop with the LARP. The books that mention these places was written in the POV of a maester who makes it clear that all the info they have on these lands is through tales of traders and sailors. The truth is far less interesting, just like Africa was looked upon as a cursed land brimming with demons and monsters hidden within its vast expanse of rainforests.
>and there's no kids born there
Isn't that one obvious? It's the place where Melly got her dark magic training. They're just constantly using other people's life forces to do their magic, making babies get auto-aborted the same way Melly used Stannis' baby to make her shadowbaby, except they're so good at their magic that they don't need the fucking to harvest the soul.
>city of Ass-High
>he fell for the constant unreliable narrators despite GRRM making sure it was obvious that the books are filled with them
This.
He frequently points out that a lot of what is known is from a limited westerosi setting.
>dude its all unreliable narrative
City of asshai where they got the dragon eggs from, where those hot ladies learn the dark magic and stuff.
still way better than the brothels of kings landing
>Falling for LITERAL "Here be dragons"
kys faggot
These ones are official GURM maps
Nice what's there tax policy?
>after GRRM finishes the book series
lol
Also, I don't even know if I am still alive 25 years from now. I want a proper conclusion to this silly dragons and dungeons story NOW!
I hope it will be big enough there are petitions for immediate reboot. GoT S9: The Winter Returns.
S5 is pretty much filler season except for the last three episodes (Hardhome/Night King's second debut, death of House Baratheon and Jon Snow getting stabbed). S6 & 7 are kind of dumb, but it's still a fun kind of dumb (except for the wight hunt). But, FUCK S8 is a complete drop to shit quality. I am literally seething right now.
>No Corlys Velaryon "the Sea Snake" voyages prequels
Fuck HBO
Am I going crazy or isn't there supposed to be some kind of castle or keep far, far north of the wall in the books?
This. Human life is mostly the same mundane routines everywhere, and grrm understands that commonality. Hell, in asoiaf he repeatedly shows how myth and word of mouth warp events like you said, especially among retarded superstitious peasants.
Craster's keep?
Or are you talking about something else?
Thenn and Craster's Keep are the only points of interest north of the Wall.
Nah, much, much more north. I seem to remember it could sometimes be glimpsed far off in the distance. I don't think I imagined it..
> yes live in bonertown
>I seem to remember it could sometimes be glimpsed far off in the distance.
Nigga the Haunted Forest itself spans 700 kilometers.
Even from the top of the wall you won't see shit looking far north.
I think it's kino. Not having a complete world map and everything lore related explained helps create some mystery while watching the world maps.
Also it allows great creativity in trying to create a complete non-canon world map, like this one
I'm losing my mind, starting to think I dreamed it. I didn't mean it could be viewed from the top of the wall, I meant viewed far off from the right place when far north past the haunted forest — I know that place is supposed to be huge.
>I want a tv series on Sothoryos, i seems like such a mysterious place.
Please, it’s just not!Africa.
You're thinking of Hradhome which was on its way to become the only town north of the wall before getting consumed by some unlnown catastrophe. Watchers in the wall reported seeing fires burning so bright it almost looked like the sun rising in the North. Beyond that theres literally nothing else up there, especially since Hardhome got fucked 600 years before the current events.
Yeah, I think you might be right. Don't know what it was that my brain invented. It's been a lot of years since I read the books and I'm not likely to read them again.
To be fair magic and fantasy monsters do exist in GoT so part of it could be true. That's why it's interesting.
Friendly reminder that Euron bought all his Valyria swag from Gerion Lannister, who's busy living like an emperor with all his riches somewhere in Essos, having no place in Westeros as a third brother. Once he hears about his brothers being dead and his favourite nephew being in Essos serving the dragon queen he'll come out of the shadows.
Is there some (non-canon obviously) story behind this map or did the creator just pain all over the place and not make any backstory whatsoever?
gods, what a shit map
Maybe you're thinking of Moles Town.
all you need to know that this jester will drag shireen underwater and breed her in the presence of Lovecraftian underwater gods
Stop posting retarded maps
I love it
You can't see that shit either, it's all underground.
i like patchface
He's way too spooky
>Ib
So Dwarves?
Neanderthals imho
anyone know where I can find fan art of Septa Unella getting railed by the mountain?
