eh, only fun part was the second act. i can do without the first and third.

>I am Iron Man
walked right out of the theater

iron man is the lamest avenger. i dont get all the basedboners over him.

oh man is that the terryology guy?

I didn't know any of the Marvel capeshit characters except Spiderman when these movies started coming out. Didn't even know who Iron Man was. Crazy to think about.

He's got more than one note characterization. He's got two note. Captain America is goody two shoes, David Bruce Banner is angsty, Thor guy is stoic (until the actual good third movie), black widow is sarcastic. Tony gets to be sarcastic, moody, good two shoes, and stoic.

>"hey This was an unexpected surprise..I hope they make more marvel movies"
>every single movie after this is a bottomless pit of trash

>walked right out of the theater
I see what you did there.

I always thought of Iron Man as that guy from the Justice Friends in Dexter's Lab, he had a bullet shaped head and body and couldn't hit the dragon or whatever hard enough.

>I hope they make more marvel movies
It was planned from the beginning. There is a bonus scene establishing the start of the Avengers thingy in the post credits scene.

Well those guys were all based on the Marvel capeshits so it makes sense.

More like Based & Redpilled.

They should never have hired Raimi as a ghost writer.

I literally got up, turned 540ยบ and moonwalked out of my theater. The usher slapped me five down low on the way out.

I hope they make sequels. Could be a franchise.

They were trying to keep it faithful to the books.

but why make such awful movies?

Yeah, this was actually a pretty ok movie. It all went to shit when disney bought them.

>but why make such awful movies?
You mean the ones in the franchise that's made over $20B? If they're genuinely terrible, they would not have made this much money.

they started to see the point in making maximum money so turned up the kid- and family- friendliness. Easy to understand jokes, predictable enough formula, no killing of humans anymore...you know, the usual with Disney. Safe and generic, whereas the original one was a charismatic bad boy working out his incredibly compelling personal redemption psychodrama on screen, killing people to get there, getting things wrong some of the time

think how different would it be if mouse had marvel then

Fuck off, retard. Transformers made a shit tonne of money and it's a terrible franchise. The average person is retarded and will throw money at literal shit, therefore something making lots of money is not a good indicator of its quality.

Yes, but back in those days it was not a given, it was planned, but if Iron Man had flopped we probably would not have gotten anything.

I am still angry about what they did to the mandarin in iron man 3.

Still the best MCU movie.

I think its less "kid friendly" and more "chinese friendly". That would explain the very flat direction (makes it easier to put subtitles on it) and plot stopping cgi action clusterfucks
