Achilles and his Myrmidons were special operations forces, made for ambushes, tactical approaches, and stealth. They were not made for full on combat although they often were involved in that.

I agree, Achilles in this movie looks like he could fight off like 10 - 15 of leonidis men at once but I think if there were 20 or more he would eat shit. As for his men they don’t seem much tougher than the guys from 300.

Team with Achilles wins easily. Even if you dropped out Leonidas and his 300 men, first team would still slaughter the second team. Gladiators would wipe out overrated knights of GoT. Having half-god and 50 of his men is just overkill.

Yes. Mythic Achilles did. Troy Achilles is the one being discussed, and he's a deconstruction. It wasn't even the arrow in his heel that killed him. He got shot multiple times and pulled them all out *except* the one through his heel. He was an extraordinarily skilled warrior that myth grew up around, but still just a mortal man.
