The Walking Dead

Just finished season 1, it's a pretty good show. I heard it turns into shit later on though. When is the best point in the series to stop watching?

Season 4 when Rick splits open a cannibals head and becomes the angel of death. Stop there.

Nah stop after 2.

season 3 and 4 are still good

Literally don't continue. S1 was the only good season

This maybe go until after the glen cliffhanger I stopped around there. I dont think I've seen the last 2 seasons

Season 1 and thats all, dont waste your time.
I only watched because my gf at the time liked the show, i stopped when the guy with the bat became popular. SHould have stopped at season 1.

>lemme smaskin sumthin

Why is TWD so shit?

Season 7, episode 1. It's also the peak of the series.

Season 2 is a snoozefest dragged out pile of dogshit
Season 3-4 is how it's gonna be from now on, gradually getting kinda worse.
It's the only zombie series that focuses on human reactions and relationships though, so not much of a choice here. Just watch it aknowledging it's a guilty pleasure material 90% of the time and you're gonna be fine.
Fear of the Walking Dead is worse and better at the same time, and it's way more relentless with it's characters, surprise deaths are way more often.

I stopped enjoying it a little while after the Governor was killed off.

I've noticed it varies differently on how people perceive each season. Imo from best to worst

3 > 6 > 5 > 2 > 1 > 4 >>>>>> 9 >>>>> 7 = 8

Everyone pretty much agrees that seasons 7 and 8 are snoozefests with terrible writing. Season 9 could have been one of the best seasons if good characters were actually there. The cinematography is season 1 tier. But yeah just stop at season 6. Most walking dead fans usually say seasons 1 to 6 are the only seasons worth watching. But everyone has different opinions on each of those seasons.

They get progressively worse as the seasons pass. Yet there are enough cool aspects to keep watching up till season 3. After that, it is up to you for how much you can tolerate for the few cool bits.

>Second season better than the first one
>Second season better than anything
Really? They just sit on a farm, have the one-on-one talking scenes and nothing fucking happens, also cg-added zombies and that fucking walker in the well scene? Really?

I gave this show a half watch while doing other shit and I didn’t think it was that bad
It’s pretty bloated I guess and they could focus less on stupid shit like the cuckoldry
It gets pretty silly later on

The pilot

season 4, don't go any further

What are the odds. I am doing the same thing. I have one last episode in the first season to watch yet. I hear it does go downhill. I am just going to watch as far as I can stand.

2 is okay
3 is garbage - and I honestly don't know why it gets so much compliments itt. The governor storyline almost made me quit
4 is okay (late season, specifically)
5 is fine
6 is good
7 is lame

But something about this show is just enticing to watch. I like to put it on while I work and then pay attention to when it gets interesting.

Just stop there. Show takes a serious nosedive in S2 and never really recovers.

There are 2 good finishing points.
1. After S01E01
2. After S01E06

Season 2 has 13 episodes, and only 3 are good. The rest of the season have mostly the same ratio. Tons of shit and filler and a handful of good episodes.

Characters were a lot more interesting in season 2 mate
