The only book of Gaiman's I finished was Good Omens, but that's because Pratchett co-wrote it. I just don't get Gaiman, I know people who are obsessed with him and his books. And his dumb wife.

The TV version of Good Omens looks like it's going to suck. Badly.

Gaiman has written some good stuff, and it's all side stuff like Sandman and his bit of Good Omens. His 'serious' books are irredeemable Stephen King level trash with a decent premise but not punchline nor point to them, in which you read all the interesting stuff in the first 40 pages and then you observe the author murder it for 400 more.

In fact I feel they'll seriously fuck up Good Omens, especially now that Sir Terry can't correct them on the point of it.

He never got as popular as Moore and Morrison for a reason. In interviews M and M seem like total madmen but they are very knowledgeable and entertaining. Gaiman however had his best work decades ago in Sandman (and really he was pulling SJW bullshit even then) and he always comes off as a whiney faggy britbong. Seriously read his blogs or whatever.
