the sets and special effects were 12/10
the movie is 5/10 at best, if you're not a dredd fan

I love it but I just can’t stand rob schneider any more.

Based and, dare I say it, redpilled.

Shitty cartoon G rated shit compared to Netflix punisher

Best Judge Dredd film. I'LL FIGHT ANY MAN!

Nah the film is great by any measure. Just a solid cheesy 90's action film

I liked the Stallone movie but I always thought the Karl Urban version more.
Bassed

IF you're a dredd fan it's a 1/10, the 1 point from quality set design that actually has the statue of liberty dwarfed by statue of justice

Netflix Punisher was terrible user.

Stallone was unironically a great Judge Dredd for the first 20 minutes of the film.

>Curses!
This was literally a movie version of the Adam West TV show.

The Fan (1996)

Still miss you, Tony

Getting this out of the way

My gf didn't get this. It made her cry for a number of hours after the credits rolled. She now refuses to watch French horror...

but this was better

That flick was complete garbage.

>tfw you need tons of slow motion scenes to drag your shit out to 90 minutes

Infinitely better, also the people who say it was too serious weren't paying attention. There are plenty of funny moments

In a perfect world, we'd gotten the Karl Urban movie but with the Stallone movie's art direction

Very true, although even the Stallone film doesn't really explore the city. We get one good cityscape shot, a few scenes and then bam he's the wasteland.

those took up like maybe 10 minutes of the runtime stop being an autist

Also they were painstakingly done and look amazing, and unlike other films they have an in-story explanation instead of being injected randomly for cool factor. The only movie that arguably used slow-motion better is the original Matrix

This

At least they made sense in this movie because it was the effect of the slowmo drug

Good taste

this is literally the best movie of the last 20 years. I wish they would turn it into a TV show or a video game or both. of course it was a flop and they wont even do a part 2.
