When will disneylets learn?

You never take on avatar chads

Attached: pepetard.jpg (249x243, 58K)

It literally never had a chance unless you simply discount inflation and no one would actually do that

Except Disney bought FOX, and the all of your next "avatar chad" productions will give money to the mouse. So who cares...

>all latest foreign totals haven't been updated since may 5
>latest foreign estimate is for may 8
>movie has exceeded all estimations in all fields
I am inevitable.

Yeah I think it's probably unlikely, but you've got to remember that the weekends are where it makes money. So have another look after this weekend.

But yeah I think it will be very tough for Endgame to beat Avatar.

Avatar had a few special reasons for grossing so much. Firstly, everyone saw it in 3D, and 3D tickets are more expensive. Secondly, it was released in December, and had very little competition all the way through January and February, whereas Endgame now faces competition from Detective Pikachu and other movies.

It's interesting that TFA is #1 in the US market though. I'm British, but I just find it quite surprising that Endgame isn't doing as well as TFA in the US market, but it is doing a lot better than TFA in the global market.

I mean I already know that Star Wars isn't very popular in China, so that's a factor. But I'm just wondering why Endgame isn't as popular in the US as TFA? I guess Star Wars is a much older and more established brand so that might be why.

TFA had the US boomer audience
They had lost it by TLJ though

Based and Gable-pilled.

this but unironically

>I just find it quite surprising that Endgame isn't doing as well as TFA in the US market

Don't they teach you how to read over in Bongland? That image clearly shows that Endgame is doing better than TFA in the US market.

Chinks love explosions and bad bitches and dwayne "the rock" johnson. They just love popcorn movies, doesn't matter.

It's crazy how bad Disney fucked up with Star Wars.

blunder of the century by all means, especially when you consider the success of the MCU

Yeah I think that's probably right. Star Wars is obviously an older and more established movie franchise.

It seems you're the one that can't read, Cletus.

Endgame had a better opening weekend than TFA, but TFA had a better second weekend. And Endgame has competition coming up (e.g. Detective Pikachu), while TFA, being released in December, didn't have much competition.

Pic related is all time US box office. TFA is quite far ahead of Endgame and I think it will be hard for Endgame to catch it.

I'm sure I've read they don't really like Star Wars though, for some reason.

I don't think they fucked up. Rogue One did very well and was a great movie. Solo didn't do as well, sure, but I thought it was pretty good. Also it had competition from Infinity War and Deadpool 2.

Can not WAIT for Avaturds to blubber and scream about "MUH INFLATED GROSS!!!" when Endgamechads win again

>I mean I already know that Star Wars isn't very popular in China
SW is laughing stock in China.

Don´t doubt our Lord and Savior James.

He has a big head. In the sense that it is literally too large. But also his opinion of himself is too high.

it will be very tight

MCU movies, like star wars or any other big series like that tend to have massive dropoffs because basically anyone who's interested will be hyped and watch it asap. Reviews and word of mouth have very little sway, if you didn't care before it came out there's no reason you'd care after a couple of weeks.

Compare that to Avatar which no-one would have dismissed outright initially as it's a standalone movie, so as its runtime went on more and more people were still happy to check it out

It doesn’t matter, no film comes close to Gone With The Wind’s box office when you account for inflation and population.

I would have a high opinion of myself if I had a filmography that includes Terminator, Abbys and Aliens, user.

Her breasts are very big

*Abyss. Sorry for the typo

It was surprising how willingly they pushed away the audience that actually has disposable income to spend on overpriced merch.

Abbys on 4k bluray WHEN?!

When I learn to write in a foreign language properly. So, never.

Rogue One was fine but TFA was really just nostalgia wank and didn't really do anything new. They didn't plan out the trilogy.
I think they can still recover and part 9 should do fine. If it's not a total disaster I think they'd win back a lot of good will from the fans

Do DisneyMoms not know what inflation is ?
