Is Yea Forums a The Rock or Armageddon board?
Ingmar Bergman,
Kubrick,
Fellini,
Akira Kurosawa,
Jean-Luc Godard,
and.. Michael Bay
it just doesn't seem right
Bay is one of the greatest aesthets of contemporary cinema.
>le blue and orange man
No
It's an artistic decision. Mad Max Fury Road also uses that colour scheme to great effect. It's not like Bay hasn't made movies with a different colour palette.
cheezball garbage
dude just be a cinematographer

Let's not forget the legendary commentary track
OP here. This is my feelings about it as well. I just don't get it. It broke no ground, tried nothing new, had mediocre acting, the story was a joke, it was just a popcorn flick with eye candy. I don't understand the praise
It is a cautionary tale for the ages. Just because one of these hans't wiped out any dominant species since the dinosaurs, it doesn't mean it won't happen tomorrow.

People are too simple to understand the genius of Bay.
Bay is an auteur who has only become more important to film as an entertainment industry since Armageddon. There are worse and far less important films in the collection.
Do you people even realize what actually happened when that asteroid struck? It wasn't just a "BOOM million atomic bombs so everything dies." No matter how big the blast, the other side of the planet would have preserved almost half the extant species. But they almost ALL died out. How can that be? Apparently, the worst of the impact wasn't the impact itself. It was the kicked up debris raining down from the sky all around the globe. You know that when an object falls through the atmosphere it burns up. Now imagine a quadrillion of such objects all at once. What really happened was that this falling debris quite literally set the sky on fire. The air became hotter than an actual oven. Everything living thing (that was on the surface) was boiled alive in its own skin. This can happen to YOU.
How can we save ourselves sir
Do we need to assemble a team
>when the cunny posting just right
Thank you, when I think of fun 90's movies this is my go to choice. Such a wonderful cast of characters, you could tell they were having so much fun working together. I almost cringe saying it but this really is one of those turn off your brain movies but it is so much fun if you don't think about it too hard.

What are the best works Bay has made? Armageddon is clearly his magnum opus.
