This show is fucking hilarious is season 4 worth the watch?

it was good up until like episode 3 or 4 when eve shows up. i just finished episode 6 and still hate her. there was a 2 second thing in one of the episodes where lucifer was playing a chewbacca joke on the dan detective, was real funny

Yes. Season 4 is way more supernatural focused it puts the detective stuff on the back burner. I would warn you that there's a BLM episode but it didn't bother me and thought it was well done because at the end of the episode it's not about whitey bad but about humans being simply awful sometimes. The season finale changes the status quo and I'm looking foward to season 5.

Basically it shortens the series to 10 episodes, so you get more real plot per episode.

Season 4 is good because they show Tom Ellis' ass in almost every episode.

The series really should’ve been a streaming original. This season really benefited from the streamlined 10 episodes and not having to balance plot/episodes to keep tension up for months of sporadic episodes. And getting away from the police procedural tedium and incorporating more supernatural elements. This was a very great season. Eve was a perfect casting and I thoroughly enjoyed her character.

I don't get why they though the main antagonist arc of the season should be Eve being a clueless retard. For one thing we just had three very long seasons of Lucifer being emotionally retarded, which is just now down to tolerable levels thanks to the much smaller episode count.

I guess they also planted some names they can use for future seasons like Lilith and Adam too, but since it'll get canceled in a few weeks it doesn't really matter much.

It’s biggest strength is the chemistry of the characters. that it doesn’t take itself so seriously. It’s pretty comfy with moments of great levity and some gut punches. also it has some nice waifus

I think it's worth adding though, you are still just watching a dumb procedural crime drama-dy with a mostly PG-13 Lucifer and "action" scenes so weak even arrowverse fans could mock them.

And while S4 is pretty good, a newcomer has a LOOOT of shit to wade through in S1-3.

Comfy show is comfy. Season 4 felt a bit rushed in places but Netflix did give them less episodes. I also wasn't a huge fan of Eve.

Overall though a good season and the extra staff they added because of Netflix was great. Nudist colony was hilarious.

Because only ten episodes, so had to do a timeskip for Linda to have the baby and bring a conclusion to the show.
I agree though, the timeskip came out of nowhere and felt awkward.
