It's okay but

youtube.com/watch?v=to2SMng4u1k
Obi-wan and Vader moving like that looks stupid, and reminds me too much of when Yoda was flipping around with a saber. Also they should have 'reimagined' the entire scene instead of just the fighting, because the change from the mostly CGI background of the fight clashes horribly with the footage from the movie

>vader winds up a swing while your lightsaber is inches from his face
>don't just boop him in the nose with it

FUCK DAY SHIT, THEY MADE IT AWESOME, LIKE SNYDER DIRECTED IT, INSTEAD OF 2 OLD FUCKS, NOW ITS TURBO KINO

PLUS, SNEED

Based

Would have been 10/10 if it weren't for Vader briefly being on fire and the prequel voice over at the end. Otherwise 9/10. Loved Vader's aggressive fighting style.

Why not? choreography is good, more akin to Rob roy than some dumbass kung-fu movie

It's fan made you fucking faggot, so of course it's not going to look 100%. Despite being amateur quality this is way more entertaining than the shit Disney is giving us. We live in a timeline where fans are producing cooler star wars shit than a fucking multi-billion dollar corporation.

I have the same problem with Rogue One, Vader should move slowly like a bulldozer, like in ESB

Fucking awful

The best parts is the fighting styles felt a tad too much like the prequels but it does feel like Vader wants just just murder him. Not bad for some fan effort.

Watched this yesterday.
Embarrassing and cringe

This, he is a robot man. Even with the force augmenting his movements he should rely more on power rather than technical skill

fucking cringey vader fanwank

Was I supposed to laugh?

The shortened version is better.

fucking zoomer trash shit that misses the point of the scene

Most damning is that Vader aims twice at anything but his enemy. Going for the saber makes it look fake.

I wonder how people would have reacted in 1977 if the fight scene had been like this?

they probably would have stood up, turned 360 degrees and walked out of the theater

STAR FUCKING WARS MY DUDES!

This makes sense in actual sword fighting though. Its like a game of chess, with you trying to position yourself and your opponent into a specific position to land a killing blow.

Simple aiming straight for your opponent would be akin to disregarding any strategy and simply moving all your pieces towards their king.

>people pretending the original "fight" was good

I love a new hope but the actual physical fight in it was dogshit thanks to the lightsaber prop breaking easily and the fact vaders body actor couldn't see shit

>it was dogshit thanks to the lightsaber prop breaking easily and the fact vaders body actor couldn't see shit
we got a real film buff here, guys.

>the first thing you see is a fucking terrible static image they try to pass of as a lingering shot
>drooling fanboy fight choreograpy
>comically bad lines inserted for no fucking reason
>prequel score is hilariously over the top in this context
>creators were so fucking oblivious to their own stupid bullshit that they kept cutting to Luke, Han, and Leia which just reinforced how fucking awful and out of place this shit would be in the film.

Star Wars is a fucking neural disease at this point.

this remake looks like two inexperienced students just trying to angrily bash each other, while the original fight was two masters carefully studying the opponent and selecting each strike

I feel like there's probably a middle-ground between the hobbling stick fight of ANH and the over-the-top action of the fan edit

the choreography of the original fight is fine if you had modern stunt guys doing it at a slightly faster clip

whats the point of this? Obi-wan didn't want to fight him.

if people keep this up we'll be able to ditch coal and fossil fuels and power everything just using alec guiness spinning in his grave

>my sides

>Hey lets take all the tension and drama out of the original scene and replace it with a spinning light show
