Since 2015, king of summer means barely breaking even.

Aladdin was probably my favorite 90s Disney movie. I even got in trouble in 2nd grade because I wouldn't stop humming the Prince Ali song when we were supposed to be working. That said, this version looks like garbage.

No, I mean Jafar looks a like a fucking pussy. The actor they got for him looks really bland, and unintimidating. OG Jafar was iconic, this dude just looks like a background extra, and has the voice to match.

I have to say I kind of agree that the dude playing Jafar is a casting mistake. People talk about Will Smith playing the Genie as a casting mistake, but we'll never get Robin Williams as the Genie again because he's fucking dead and I unironically like Will Smith as the Genie, the REAL casting mistake is the dude playing Jafar - there's nothing menacing about him. I hope the movie proves me wrong.
