I would agree, but I never really liked the episodes where he was the main character. He was always at his best when he was pissed off/annoyed/disgusted by the main three.

Not true. I'm a zoomer and think it's some of the finest comedic timing out there. My boomer dad kind of finds it funny but he can't get past the zany premise and the gore jokes.
