If America, the UK, and USSR could form a temporary alliance against Germany, surely a couple of pretenders to the throne can. Stannis probably would've been willing to negotiate some kind of agreement or mutual understanding with Robb anyway. He saw his war as being in the South, the North was a sideshow to him (until the Lord of Light convinced him otherwise).
