Looks like R rated Golden Girls

kind of

If there's one thing I love seeing more than prequels that show my favorite characters as children it's sequels that show my favorite characters as really old people. That's just how I love to remember them.

I could give a shit less about terminator fans since the general consensus hated Salvation which I thought was a great fucking film worthy of an entry in the series

>*cracks* *sips*

Film opens with young Sarah and John Conner on a beach in 1997. T800 comes out of no where and kills John. In addition to T3-Genisys being retconned, now John Conner who we have spent the entire series giving a shit about is now dead.

Now for 20 minutes of subtitles because Spanish. We meet new John Conner who is some chick from Mexico. We meet new Terminator who is like the guy in T2, but this guy can separate the liquid and metal parts of himself to be 2 terminators. He also has the power to call border patrol on the Mexican chick later in the film (which is probably the best part of the film). Also a half terminator and half lesbian comes back from the future to save new latina John. New terminator finds latina John and she is saved by the lesbian. There is a chase and latina John's brother dies, but we don't really need to care about him. The chase ends with Linda Hamilton arriving with big guns and shooting the shit out of the new guy.

There's more...

>every 10 year old boomer kid with a lame dad in the universe related to and self inserted into John in T2
>yeah ummmm we dont want that audience fuck that nigga hes dead he died offscreen

Not really for another Terminator movie but I thought Linda Hamilton should have had or deserved a better career than she did so I'm kind of excited to see her in something after so long.

Lesbian, latina John, and Sarah Conner are now on the run looking for some dude who has been sending Sarah weird text messages to her phone which she keeps in a bag of chips. It turns out the dude is the T800 who killed John in the opening scene. Only now he's sorry, he has a family, and serves Corona.

They make a plan to kill the new Terminator. Everything explodes. All terminators die while Sarah and latina John live. However, it turns out the lesbian is alive only she is a kid in the present and not half machine yet. They visit her at the end.

This is from a test screening I just came from

I also liked it, wasent perfect but way better than people make it out to be. Fan service goes overboard imo with movies like this and the Halloween reboot, “oh everyone fucking hates the Star Wars prequels? Ok, won’t mention it. Halloween 2 isn’t loved by some mouth breathers online? It didn’t happen. No way is Michael her brother, DUH, fuckface. And those TOOOOOTALLY lame terminator sequels are like history, a uh, alternate timeline if you will, heh.”

It wasn't great, but compared to T3 and everything else after T2 it was a fucking masterpiece. Those movies were flaming shit.

The true sequel to T2 is John and Sarah Connor living separate lives, while having episodic dreams about the future they prevented. They would also become obsessed with the idea of machines eventually taking over as technology keeps getting better.

The Terminator = Star Wars OT
T2 = Star Wars PT
Everything Else = Star Wars ST

holly shit, is this even necessary? The only thing the fans wanted to see was future wars like those scenes from T1. I mean...Is that SO MUCH TO ASK? For fucks sake? Why do they keep doing this to the terminator series? It's like everyone who has touched this franchise since T2 has been a lobotomized drooling turd.

Successful heart transplant surgery performed by a veterinarian in a post-nuclear wasteland. Totally bought this.
Yeah pure Kino. Christfuck.

But time travel and cybernetic organisms that can successfully mimic humans is ok

Terminator Trilogy
T1 - Sarah
T2 - John
T3 - Kyle: entirely set in the future, ends with kyle being sent back in time.
Perfect loop. Amazing story based around an extraordinary family. Done.

If not for Yea Forums posting Mackenzie Davis' horrific body I wouldn't know this movie was being filmed.

Then don’t complain about post apocalyptic heart surgery
