Who dropped the ball the worst?

Unironically Game of Thrones.
I can make excuses at least for the other 3 shows and Mass Effect's ending, while still flawed, was somewhat improved with the additional content.

imagine watching game of cones

Game of Thrones.
And no I'm not just "stuck in the moment"

Firstly the Sopranos ending is actually kino and people are just too retarded to actually pay attantion to what is happening on screen.
LOST kind of wrote itself into a corner. Flash Sideways were a waste but all things considered it was still a step up from season 5's retarded Dr Who tier time traveling shitshow and while the whole purgatory thing was a bit too much, I didn't feel betrayed or anything.
Mass Effect 3 initially was pretty shit but with extended cut and leviathan add ons it's more suitable now even if it is still a bit too overly dream-sequency.
Scienfield admittedly has a weak exit but the season leading up to the final episode is fine.

Sopranos is kino no matter how you look at it. I was inclined to say Lost had a bigger buildup, but I think GoT has been hyped more. Mass Effect was just a meme by the end, and the finale of Seinfeld is very funny.

lost dropped the ball after season 2

only because ME3 literally lied about it

Mass Effect 3 was the shit, and citadel made up for it imo

The Hobbit, Game of Thrones or Star Wars sequels

Lost and Ass Effect were never good.
Seinfeld wasn't that bad in the end and they gracefully euthanized the show when the suits wanted more and more.
The end of the Sopranos was fine.
So my answer is GoT which went to shit the split second they ran out of source material.

Sopranos has a kino ending, people were too stupid for it. LOST ending is fine, it's the absolute failure of the series as a whole for explaining fucking anything well or in a satisfying fashion that's the actual problem.GoT is a mess, GRRM gets a lot of shit but the first three books at least were very well crafted and for that story to be finished by two retarded hacks is very painful. ME3 is insulting to fans and literally had three identical bad endings with a different color slapped on each......it might just be the worst but it's also not a movie or show.

Seinfeld was just a meh episode.

Which was more of a dissapointment
Lord of the Rings -----> The Hobbit
Star Wars Originals -------> prequels
Star Wars Prequels --------> Sequels

The Hobbit was a fucking train wreck.

that's one of the few kino Yea Forums posts tbqh

the LOST ending is just dull and overly whimsical. It's pretty clear stretching the show out into 3 smaller seasons after season 3 was a mistake when only 2 medium sized seasons were needed. Season 6 is about 8-10 episodes worth of material stretched out to 16 episodes and this is most obviously noticable via the dumb "flash-sideways" gimmick which ends up resulting in the now infamous church scene. But putting that aside, it's not that insulting or terrible. Just unnecessary.

The Sopranos final season is actually great. The final episode is a bit too slow and anticlimactic but it's not at all "bad" and the ending is actually very cleverly thought out.

Seinfeld shouldnt even be here. There are less funny episodes in the show than the finale and less funny seasons than the final season. The ending ian't a high point, but the show had seen lower lows.

Mass Effect 3's ending being this horrible thing is just a reddit hivemind outcry. Don't get me wrong, It's perfectly reasonable for people to be angry at Bioware for outright lying about what the ending would be like, but just taken in a vacuum it's fine. Not great. Just fine. In a way it's actually ironic for someone to praise the Sopranos ending and criticize ME3 because they're pretty much doing the same thing with their endings. ME3 just doesn't stick the landing as well due to rushed development. And to be honest, between the extended cut, Leviathan, and Citadel expansions. the ending has been so heavily remedied that I'm willing to take it out of the red and put it in the yellow at this point.

Game of Thrones is the worst here. And it's not even over yet. The show is so incredibly far away from what made it what it is that it's almost like we're actually watching bizarro game of thrones. And while we are at it, fuck OP because there are worse contenders not listed here like Evangelon and Game of Thrones is still worse. D&D are complete hacks and I am at a loss for words what they have done with it.

Sopranos ending was good

ME3 took my all time favorite game series at that point and utterly destroyed it in the last twenty minutes. They even ruined the setting for future installments. So that kinda sucks.

GoT hasn't been good for like five seasons. New episodes shitting on everything are at least more interesting. Plot armor finally getting removed brings back that old dangerous feeling you got when the show was still fresh.

Evangelion’s ending is kino. It fully ties up Shinji’s character arc, which what the show is about

Firstly, Mass Effect 3 I don't even think belongs here because not only have I played video games with FAR worse endings (some even from the same very year of release) but the biggest reason to actually get mad about the ending is more of a reason to get mad at the developer for making false claims whereas the ending of the game itself actually works with the game that sets it up. Not perfectly, but it works, especially when you add on all the extra DLC which does enhance it.
Likewise the Lost ending doesn't really belong her either. It didn't hit the standard the show had left us to expect, but lets be honest, the show had been out of its prime since "Not Penny's Boat". If anything Season 6 is a step up from 5 anyway.
Sopranos ending is actually good so fuck you OP it shouldnt even be in the discussion.
Yeah Seinfeld ended shitty. But whatever. It's a comedy. It has that luxury. The old laughs are still there.
Game of Thrones has put itself in a situation where no matter what it does it's already more disappointing than all the other options, it's just a question of by how much.

Sopranos was fine
Lost and Game of Thrones had/have been shit for years already, who's surprised
Haven't watched all of Seinfeld

But ME3 was a real fucking kick in the teeth. After the absolute masterpiece that was ME2 and after all the promises that your choices throughout the games were building up to something, lol nope nothing matters pick A B or C for the same video tinted a different colour.
Still fucking makes me mad

The Hobbit triology was better than the LOTR triology

Then the LOTR trilogy must be fucking terrible.

people here have been negative on got for a while but now normies are turning on it in droves too. Why? s6 and s7 were just as terrible and nonsensical as this last one

Just rejoice, the show has been shit for years

>seinfeld
Seinfeld was an episodic sitcom that never took anything too seriously and loved to fuck with people.

What were people expecting, some sappy soap opera bittersweet sendoff? Seinfeld was the antithesis to that campy sitcom bullshit.

Dexter

LOST doesn't really fit in. It was obvious halfway through the first season that it was absolute garbage and the writers had no clue what they were doing.

LOST as of now. GoT has two more episodes to redeem itself or officially become the worst. Seinfeld only had one bad episode in that season. ME3 is overshadowed by ME Andromeda. Sopranos only had a bad last 2 seconds so it doesn't count.

Sopranos is still good, it just drags on a little too long. The ending is pure KINO.

LOST is great, fuck all the dumb plebeians who still believe "DEY WAS DEAD THE HOLE TIM!" Fucking retards. The ending is not perfect, and neither is the final season, but do not compare it to GoT under any circumstances. It'e a satisfying conclusion to the character's stories. In addition, the flash sideways were great, was it overall unnecessary? Maybe, but I enjoyed it nonetheless and I liked spending more time with these characters in a different world, seeing their lives completely different.

GoT is an unmitigated disaster, a failure of writing, a failure of logical consistency, it's a case of writers not having source material to adapt from, and thus having to come up with their own dialogue and plot devices, and it all just fails miserably and is not even consistent from episode to episode. It's also incredibly rushed despite more time for production and less episodes to film. Despite given a greater budget as well.

ME3 was good up until you get to Earth, then the narrative crumbles. The rest of the game was pretty solid 8/10 material for the most part, honestly. The gameplay was good, and the multiplayer was surprisingly fun for its time.

Seinfeld had a decent final season, and the finale was only bad in the context of what people were expecting. What they got was a pretty standard Seinfeld episode that was neither great nor awful, it is just a middle of the road episode and because of that, it was poorly received. It's literally a 7/10 and if you watch it without that context of it being the final episode it's actually pretty solid.

stop comparing lost to GOT
Lost never fucked up this hard in the writing department.

Game of thrones doesn't have good writing in general, everything good in it came from the source material. D&D are very bad writers on their own, but could at least do the minimum and transport the source material into television.

Sopranos and Lost are not based on a source material so that makes them far superior to anything GoT ever did.

LotR by a country mile

There are no TV-shows with "good" endings because it's impossible to live up to the hype. Every single TV-show ending is controversial.

Sopranos was great
Never watched Lost
GoT has gone to generic shit since they ran out books
I played all the ME games one after the other and legit can't even remember how they ened
Seinfeld was great.

So I have to say GoT

The Witcher 3 was the worst I've ever seen.

In the last 10 minutes the game tells you that Ciri can in fact end the apocalypse, which makes the main villains motivation meaningless and stupid and it makes the book saga meaningless since she could do that without any cost to pay there was no need for any conflict in any of the books. And they did that so the games can feel like they have a definitive ending, like the ice apocalypse is cancelled and Ciri can be whatever she wants now.

Sopranos S6 part 2 was the best season
