All those scenes are in the film

needs more quips

Shame that they swapped out that villain for a campy one

Such a good trailer. Damn shame the movie is utter garbage.
Also, is the cinematography better in AoU than IW and Endgame?

>watching trailers

It looks so good. Ultron looks like a genuine threat, and his first body cobbled together is at least a bit spooky. The trailer feels angry, the colors in some parts feel like a fever dream.
I don't even remember most of the movie.

Which villain is the campy one?

The minute Ultron forgot the word for children was when I realized I had been duped by the trailer.

Trailer Ultron showed a menacing tyrant ready to tear the planet a new one while movie Ultron was a quippy douche.

>Is the cinematography better in AoU than IW and Endgame?

Endgame and IW had like 90% CGI(I'm exaggerating but it had more CGI than AoU by far). The cinematography in the newer Marvel films suck compared to the older ones in my opinion due to them discontinuing the use of practical effects.

I think what they tried to do was make an RDJ 2.0, but the voice actor for Ultron simply didnt have enough charisma to pull the funny scenes off

I liked AoU, it was fun
The secret for enjoying marvel movies (with exception to Winter Soldier, Civil Way and IW/Endgame) is to treat them as they were supposed to. 2 hours of fun for a younger audience.

Civil war**

is that trend of erie cover versions of popular songs still a thing in trailers?

>James Spader lacks charisma, that's why the quippy robot didn't work.

Sorry, i worded that wrong. He didnt have enough charisma AS RDJ/stark "itself" has, thats why when tony was a complete asshole in this movie we, as an audience, were quick to forgive him

Tried watching this movie not long ago, I liked the first avengers film so thought I would give it a try.

INSTANT quips and `dumb shit all over the place, usually during scenes where it would be inappropriate to do so (storming a terrorist fort and killing terrorists). Turned it off 5 minutes in, the quips weren't even funny or well written. The first Avengers movie used its comedy sparingly, not during intense fightscenes. Why should I give a flying fuck about what is happening when the people in the movie clearly don't?

I think they just took Ultron in a horrible unthreatening direction. Also, that damn face with the teeth sucked and the concept art was much more menacing.

I think it's cause they didn't want to wreck the world too much before Thanos arrived

only good scene. very kino shot

Hawkeye and Widow just jumping at those dudes with rifles.

>not thanos hammer lift scene
>not the part where ultron overtakes jarvis
>not the part where ultron shows up in possessed ironman suits
shit taste

*thor hammer lift scene
fug

>absolutely zero minutes of Tony dealing with his crime of arrogance in making Ultron
He was an alien robot after his intro, with no connection to the people that made him. The movie was an editing disaster because Whedon and Feige hated each other, though. Maybe there was supposed to be more.

just because a trailer is better than the movie, doesn't make it false advertising.

It completely misrepresents the tone of the movie, so yeah it is. It's not lawsuit tier, but it isn't right. Tarantino movies also get trailers like this to make them look like straight comedies instead of dramatic pseudo-period pieces.

>"Age" of Ultron
4 days according to the MCU wiki.

Film should have had much higher stakes than some retarded city in Russia getting bodyslammed into the ground. Should have instead been about Ultron framing the Avengers in an Ozymandias Watchmen style, along the lines of ‘do you really think New York would have happened if it hadn’t been for the Avengers?’ tact. Avengers having to fight an Ultron who’s infested the media and the government and turned the world against them. Could have been a really interesting take on AI and it’s dangers.

>main villain was literally a toaster

>a more perfect example of false advertising.
AVENGERS ENDGAME WILL BE OVER THREE HOURS
WHEN TO PEE DURING THE THREE HOURS OF AVENGERS ENDGAME
IS THREE HOURS TOO LONG FOR A BLOCKBUSTER FILM??
>it isn't even three hours long

How long is it?

>soldiers shooting at the Hulk
>banner staggering around in the snow
>Wanda falling to her knees

All never made the final cut.

In one of the trailers around this time there was also a shot of Mantis standing under a waterfall but she got cut as well and ended up in GotG2 instead. She was originally going to be in Wakanda in AoU and Whedon wanted her in the film. Don't think it was same actress we ended up with though, been a while.

He was a bitch, especially when he gets tossed around and punched away for comedic effect by Hulk

About 2 hours 48 minutes without the credits.

>Film should have had much higher stakes than some retarded city in Russia getting bodyslammed into the ground

Did you even watch the movie?

The vibranium bomb set off by the city impact was going to wipe out all life on earth.

The credits are 13 minutes long?

>broken shield

cheeky

i have a shirt with that avenger logo on it. i've been wearing it for like a decade

>soldiers shooting at the Hulk
Granted, it's not the same shot, but the soldiers are shooting at Hulk as Tony suits up.

>banner staggering around in the snow

Again, alternate shot but the event happens.

better that trailers like Toy Story 4 that show you the entire movie

I know, but it’s just a really boring and pathetic doomsday plan - at least make it about an asteroid being redirected into Earth’s orbit or literally anything other than some fucking ‘vibranium bomb’ lmao

Thereabout yes. Seems fairly standard to me.
At least from the slightly shortened chinese version I have.
From the end of the Steve and Peggy scene to the end of the legalese.

trailer makes it look like a snyder kino, minus the cool photography direction

>super murderbot
>has a literal witch on his team that can mindrape everyone
>doesn't really divide the Avengers any more than Loki did in the first one
>literally the same mindfuck trick that he uses on Hawkeye except now it's used on all of them for a twenty minute sequence that messes with them a little
>ends up being a total jobber compared to a regular army dude that just happened to live near the city he wrecked and went on to actually fuck up the Avengers
Ultron is as big of a faggot as Joss Whedon

Better shot than the one in Endgame

I don’t know what they shot on, but AoU genuinely looks pretty good

Are you high? Watch the trailer. The TV show sound stage lighting and production values stand out so much it makes the whole thing unwatchable in all the non-CGI shots.
