Jean Claude really deserved better. I've never watched any of his movies, and in the past few months I watched Hard Target, Timecop, Street Fighter, and Universal Soldier. Jean Claude is charming, talented, GIFTED even! But the scripts and everything else for the most part leave a lot to be desired.

No, just checked, it's double impact. In one scene one Jean Claude van damme fantasizes about stealing the other Jean Claude van damme's girlfriend, and you can't even tell which one is which half the time. It's amazing
Look around man, in every medium the vast amount of content is garbage tier. How many actually good movies come out every year? How many of those action? Even the mouse produces duds and that's with all the money in the world.
Sudden Death is pretty good, so is "JCVD".

Watched this movie as a kid every Friday with my uncle and my older brother for years because my brother loved it so much. It's literally the movie I feel the most nostalgic for. Thanks for the memories Van Damme.
