Shit like pic related and the way Travolta's character got murdered in 2004's Punisher are the right way to go
Movies are too soft on villains these days, redeeming them or giving them quick/offscreen reprisals. they should suffer when they get caught, it's more satisfying that way.
This reminds me of the end of John Wick 2, I mean it's not like it was going to be a masterpiece anyway but at the end when he finally catches up to the main villain he just shoots him, it was just so fast and noticeably disappointing to me.

>Travolta's character got murdered in 2004's Punisher
As a kid I remember feeling bad for Travolta's character for some reason. Is this how it's meant to be or was I just retarded? Worth a rewatch? I remember the Russian scene and the country singer scenes being Kino

The wailing when he's on fire getting dragged by the car always makes me kek

At some point you feel bad for them no matter what heinous shit they've done
Why haven't we had a thread in a while about Tavolta letting his retard son drown in the bath?

Thomas Jane is easily the best Punisher. Dolph Lundgren lacks polish, Warzone was just shit. I haven't watched the series, Yea Forums has absolutely ruined Jon Bernthal for me, literally burst out laughing when I saw him in the Accountant.
charley rakes in lawless gets it pretty good as well

>they should suffer One of the best is Marked for Death where Seagal slashes Screwface with a katana across the torso, gouges his eyes with his fingers, picks him up and breaks his back over his knee, and then throws him down an elevator shaft where he falls for a few stories and then gets impaled on a sharp piece of metal at the bottom of the shaft.

He was in the Hotel so anything drawn out would've been interrupted and the villain may have gotten away (again). Also John is clearly not the kind to torture people since of the 100+ body count he racks up in both movies most people he aims to dispatch immediately.
Even besides that, John's dilemma with banishment and how that plays out was the important part of that scene, not how much he makes the villain suffer.

People don't the idea that some people are just plain evil
