Why aren't you watching the most kino series of the year?
Why aren't you watching the most kino series of the year?
it got boring after the second deus ex machina for eren
I already saw Captain America, we all did
I do but I'm also reading the manga and it sucks to see how far behind the anime is. There are more excited things after the arc that season 3 is doing right now.
can't wait for Armin to have a genuinely good death scene and then be saved by >muh ocean dream
Back when I first read that chapter, I didn't mind that they chose him but now knowing what a cunt he's been in recent chapters, I wish they'd choose differently.
I thought season 2 felt so flat compared to the first one.
Like the director had a hangover or something is season 3 good again?
Can't wait to see Nutcracker scene fully animated
S2 suffered from being only 12 episodes long, so at the end it really just felt like it was over before it started. S3 has been great so far
Same. Can't wait to see how War Hammer will look like as well.
The first part is a snooze fest but it's kino from this point onward.
why is it called "serumbowl"
does the story ever get good again? I got bored when the revealed there's a whole fucking planet of normal people and they such shoved the freaks on some gay island or something
My only problem was Eren being kidnapped for the THIRD FUCKING TIME and being essentially a McGuffin again.
But the scenes between Levi and Kenny, and the Scouts staging a coups were really fun to watch
I'm a mangafag so I know the plot.
Season 2 was just boring as fuck despite having some great plot moments.
It didn't grab me like the first season did.
Also the music wasn't used nearly as well.
Have they got to the shit machine yet?
>Have they got to the shit machine yet?
Yes, it was at the first half of season 3
because Armin and Erwin are near death and they have to save one of them by giving them the titan serum
The Marley arc that comes after that is honestly the best one in the series so far. We're now into the final arc of the story which is also really good with Eren being the anti-hero.
You should've seen that coming when the fucking ocean was considered a distant myth.
>watching for the story
i watch it for cool shit like pic related, pleb
I was about to give up on the show when I saw the titan wrestling match. The grappling was animated very well, it was actually impressive as heck. Why don't we get more fucking shit like that. Fucking need 10 episodes of buildup and dialogue to see something bad ass.
This scene was very well done. The music was also on point.
The manga story is a total clusterfuck. It should’ve ended after Eren’s Attack on Liberia.
I'd meet halfway and go with 2-4 episodes of buildup between fights, like how Ippo does it. Some buildup isn't bad, but you can overdo that shit.
Because of politics, unironically, this is how the story is. There's more talk than action in general especially in the latest chapters.
because that shit's expensive to make
I personally prefer waiting for a season to be done before watching it. This show is best enjoyed binged rather than watched on a weekly basis
Because the anime is shit tier compared to the manga due to literally every line being delivered with a ridiculous amount of exaggerated emotion and every single panel being dragged out to an infuriating extent to pad out for time
i heard the eren vs reiner fight was a disappointment in the show (i only watched s1) and thats a shame because it was absolutely based in the comic
I agree but since I know exactly what's happening because of the manga reading that I do monthly, I watch it weekly but for someone who does not know what's going to happen, it's best to watch it when it's done.
But I am watching it
Gay
KOFF
It's one of the most retarded show I ever saw. Don't even know why even it's so popular. Overall scenario is trash but I really wanted to know answers for their mystery boxes, but that's all. I didn't liked characters and overall plot with stupid twists like "everyone around you were titans lol".
>does the story ever get good again?
Not really. Ironically, the main thing the story had going for it, other than the inherent mismatch between humans and titans (with Eren being the potential equalizer), was the mystery of who the titans are, where they come from, etc. .
With the basement reveal of "it's actually just Earth in 1914 and the main characters live in Madagascar" it changes the entire spirit of the series, and imo ruins the premise that drew in so many fans to begin with. It's not the last remnants of humanity fighting against monsters, it's just X-Men living in M Night Shamalan's The Village.
>Shingeki No Kyojin Chapter 117 Spoilers
Can't wait to see this scene animated in a year and a half from now.
Bet the show gets cancelled long before that, the Shonen Jump audience isn't going to tolerate all the politics and talking that comes before.
