what did D&D exactly mean by this?
King's Landing Season 8
Other urls found in this thread:
medieval maps were inaccurate
were they innaccurate enough to delete an entire river and move a city 5km away from the sea?
medieval cartographers also didn't have dragons to fly over the land they were mapping
they flipped the entire city and deleted the river
Winter has come, the source of the river has frozen?
I dunno...
the river is still there
Goddam you are fucking stupid.
global warming
The intro approaches from an upside down angle you absolute retards. See . The river has dried out. Should be obvious from the fact that the surroundings are now desert. Winter is coming and so on.
Winter also makes the hills and mountains shrink.
>winter is coming
>the world becomes dry and arid
Sea level lowers as polar ice caps grow.
come to Yea Forums and be a prick, all are welcome
Imagine being this retard
They were pretty accurate
You see, it's quite easy, qyburn used the wish spell and moved the whole city
That's the idea. We hone our shitposting ability here before attacking the normans.
What are the squiggles on Sicily, Corsica, cyprus etc. supposed to mean?
lots of hairy people in there
Aren't they both inaccurate? King's Landing is surrounded by the sea in the show itself.
They got the giant chicken leg stretching across North Africa right.
looks like a chuck steak
have sex
Didn't Cersei blow up some of it?
you got a long way to go buttercup, a good shit post is coated in chocolate so they take a nice big bite. a bad shit post is coated in shit, fooling no one
Well I mean you keep replying to me. Have sex.
I'm having sex right now
If any of you anons paid attention you’d realize that the whole show takes place on the inside surface of a sphere.
Really actually watch the intro.
cringe.
DUBS

don't be afraid, let the sex have you
>cringe
“No!”
Really shitty north of france
have sex
fucking where
>he doesnt fast forward the intro credits
It’s upside down.
>Lord Steven Christ
Yes, their maps were childish
global warming
Careful, user. Careful now.
People here will eat anything
Yes yes, However.
This video reminds me of my mental breakdown in 2017
Why are they so different?
They clearly don't give a shit. Why should we?
God I hate Jews.
Those walls seem short
it's a safe space
What season does it stop following the books? I might watch up to then
It meant they knew it was there but they couldn't reach it.
This show is a fucking embarassment.
The only place the Tyrion scene below could take place is behind the hill in the midground, but there are hills beyond that, that are absent from the Tyrion scene
What the fuck is going on above Scotland?
Shape correct. Size not yet defined
climate change is real and you literally can't deny it
fucking shitlords
they just wanted to subvert, poz, and ultimately destroy anything that goys might like or remind them of their stolen history
I thought that too like why the fuck is it so barren? I suppose it could be winter but no one seems very cold. And I swear in season 1 and 2 they had scenes of the front gate which showed forest.
>what did D&D exactly mean by this?
Fucking global warming man, all water turning into vapor and shoreline is expanding
is that white mansa musa?
Good man, I am going to say this once, and only once: do not question and/or talk about the northern regions of Europe. What happened there is of no concern. It would do you no good to look into it.
You have to admit that the minecraft kids did it better
This whole thread is pure autism. Nice work boys
buy i can't even remember my own birthday
They don't give a shit about the show and actively dislike the people who do
>'hey somethings wrong here' when coastal city is suddenly in middle of desert
>FUCKING AUTISTS SHUT THE FUCK UP REEEEEEE
The showrunners clearly gave up years ago. You think they give a fuck about continuity in cartography?
just reuse old maps lmao
They cannot burn down the castle they used before, but they can build a set to burn down in the middle of nowhere.
Why do shows start colorful and well lit but end up looking drab, grey, brown and colorless
Wasnt the winter arriving a big deal at the end of season 7?
Dissapointing. The upper image makes me think of a large commercial medieval city in Liguria, Italy or Southern France. Which is, AFAIK, how KL is supposed to represent, roughly.
The bottom image looks like Arizona.
Can someone shoop Patrick pushing the city into OP's image?
>They cannot burn down the castle they used before, but they can build a set to burn down in the middle of nowhere.
Should've filmed at Notre Dame amirite?
Too soon man

It's visual storytelling to show how things went bad and we can't go back to happier times
It looks like visual puke
Season 1 has a few minor changes, but it's almost a 1:1 adaptation. Season 2 is when the changes really start, although there aren't too many. Season 3 is when the changes start to compound and the cracks start to show. Season 4 is when the show begins to fall apart, but it's still mostly following the books. Season 5 and onward are complete shitshows that go completely off the rails and are nothing like the books at all.
Honestly, it's not worth it. Season 1 is so good that you'll just be left disappointed with what the show could have been. Stick to the books.
I was a bookfag before the show began. I dropped the show at season 3's Red Wedding episode.
Didn't come back until the show surpassed the books, never watched the seasons in-between. Season 3 was bad enough for me to drop it. Now I'm watching this last season solely for the memes, just like I did in season 6 and 7.
they dammed the river after the stannis attack
also it's upside down because the camera is going north to south in S8

popularity. it started to decline when it became popular and just went to shit. i think GRRM even points out what dumb and dumber do with the characters now isn't related to source material from him, but from Q scores.
>I thought that too like why the fuck is it so barren?
They would've cleared everything near the walls in preparation for a siege.
