This episode was amazing. Felt more like Twilight Zone than the reboot.

If you removed the jokes and played it straight, it would function as a genuinely good anthology horror segment. And yeah, a random episode of an animated sitcom currently on season 14 is still better than the fucking Banana Peele Woke Zone reboot.
There weren't that many jokes in it compared to the other episodes but yeah
Recommend episodes from Outerlimits, Twilight Zone or films like it
It was like a blend of The Ring and Stay Tuned. The Roger subplot was meaningless (though it kinda tied into Stan wanting to get away from his family) but they acknowledged that at the very end with it ending abruptly and unresolved. Episode would've been better without it, but I understand if there's a mandate to include as many cast members as possible per episode.
Also, how does Yea Forums feel about Tuttle? They've been using him a lot, lately, but I actually like him.
I like Tuttle too
>watching current AD
>this nigga doesn't appreciate jazz
What are some other scary episodes in none scary shows?
Is AD the only show in existence that actually got less political over time? Those first three or whatever seasons where it was unironically "dude republicans are so stupid xD" are just awful. I was shocked to see how good it got when they dropped that shit.
It definitely picked up after Stan of Arabia.
Yeah the dynamic of 'Stan loves the government his daughter doesn't' basically doesn't exist anymore
What seasons do you rec?
Lloyd in Space had one that scared the shit out of ne as a kid, where they were being hunted by an alien that killed them one by one.
It is kinda weird that AD was basically created to mock the George W Bush administration and the punchline of every episode was "lol Republicans amirite". But they haven't gone full TDS at all in the past 2 years whereas nearly every other show on TV (including Family Guy) can't help themselves. I think it has to do with Seth being less active creatively in the show over time and so it pretty much dropped the anti-conservative political slant entirely once he left the writers room.
All of them but the first one
AD got way better as soon as Seth fucked off from the writer's room to go play director with his shitty live action movies.
Seth is a good actor (or at least voice actor) but a pretty shit writer and showrunner (the Orwell is baaaaaaaad). He should just stick to being a VA.
yes please
