Yeah as an addendum I'd say watch the US dub of 3, I'm pretty sure they didn't actually fuck with the story for US localization like with the first one.

I also say 1-3. But I grew out of Poke'mon after the third movie and the others do not have a nostalgia factor for me. I haven't even seen them. But it looked like the series ran out of creative ideas after the second generation of Poke'mon anyway.
