Well that is what Westeros and the story are based off of. Perhaps George just did it because he didn't have the time or effort to create a new language for every respective region of Westeros. The interactions would be too complicated that way.

It doesn’t matter what spin offs they do. They will never be good. They will always be cookie cutter shows coasting off the popularity of GoT. Game of thrones season 1-4 was good because they had GRRMs carefully well thought out novels to adapt. These spinoff shows have nothing clever to adapt, it’s going to be executive produced uninspired trash tv.
