I'm sure he could devise something but I don't really consider the plan he made 'super' intensive. It's mostly about toning; it's not about getting bigger or anything and a lot of the exercises are more about movement than amount of weight used. Pic is the workout he devised. Kinda want to make a catchy pic though because its just a rtf file that I screenshotted. Doing the barbell twists and rear cable pulls for some reason murder me but I also like them more than anything else.

As weird as it sounds, I feel like Alita has been with us for years, and it hasn't even been a full 3 months yet. Alita did to other movies what the Witcher 3 did to other games for me. It makes everything else seem lackluster in comparison

That's cool, I'm a big Battlebots fan so I have a pretty good idea about what kinds of weapons and armor would work the best.
- no flamethrowers
- if you're using chainsaw or rotary saw you need some way of grabbing your opponent (like Stinger had)
- heavy maces or axes can knock people off balance but it's harder to stay balanced yourself
- any kind of stabbing weapon is likely useless

More ideas:
- a design that is simple and easy to fix is always better than a complicated one
- joints are the most vulnerable spot
- knocking your opponent over would be extremely effective
- two legs good four legs bad

Flamethrowers could be a good intimidation/zoning tactic given the regular human response to fire is to instinctively withdraw. (See Hugo's constant firebombs)

Sleep well user. It might be pretty autistic but I'm definitely keen for some discussion on it now that we have some actual rules to go off.

The thing about flamethrowers is you have to hold the flame on one spot for a while in order for it to do any damage, especially since everyone is made out of metal. Hugo was using napalm or something which is sticky so that would be better than just something that just shoots fire out.
Four legs would be awkward to coordinate and don't necessarily provide more stability than just crouching down like a speed skater. An extra arm to hold the motorball would be great but I'm looking at the art book and some of the wheel designs just seem too complicated to be effective.

The generals only get banned if they break the rules like reylo did. Most of the generals stop existing because there's not a large enough poster base to keep them bumped. We have a goal and a lot of uncertainty and an entire manga to speculate on so there's plenty of content.

That list was more about "essential cyberpunk" than movies thematically similar to Alita. I know I save that one, but my Alita folder is a bit of a mess, so I'll have to look for it.

This is where most sci-fi movies start to break down. We depend so much on other organs (example: our digestive system has 300M neurons, as many as a cat) that we would feel and act differently if some of them were missing.

/GoT/ has been around for as long as I remember but I genuinely think part of why the jannies let us stay is that they know we have an end goal in sight. Once we hit 999 this place almost certainly wraps up. Furthermore we also never bleed accross threads and we tend to be an unusually welcoming and postive bunch of people which it makes sense for the jannies to support to help improve the board culture. Also you should go see the movie and tell us what you think. We're always interested to hear it.
