Ironically to your post, The Matrix Reloaded
-The Agents are Coming fight at the beginning of the film
-Neo's fight with the Asian dude
-Burly Brawl with Agent Smith
-The Chateau Fight
-Mona Lisa Overdrive highway chase
-The Architect scene
TMR is the pinnacle of rewatch kino. That's why it's called Reloaded, you can reload it in your bluray player anytime and it's still kino.
star wars episode 2
only saw it once, architect bullshit and all the rest was fucking boring, the twins part were dissapointing
Hot Fuzz
Jurassic Park.
I've probably watched it a couple hundred times, but I don't keep count.
It should've stopped there though, I've been watching the trilogy and I just can't make it through the third one. It's so boring. I made it through the LotR trilogy just fine and they were longer.
5th Element
The Matrix 1 and 2
Most Indiana Jones films
Idris Elba
Back to the future
gladiator
Six String Samurai
Blade Runner.
or some comedy like 40 year old virgin.
the departed tbqh
Fight Club
Robocop
Unforgiven
Black Hawk Down
Tommy Boy
Reloaded has really bad pacing and drags on too long with scenes like the french dude, zion shit and the architect.
It's much better than Revolutions which has pretty much no redeeming qualities but it's still kind of a weak follow-up to me outside of the highway scene. I think the main problem lies in it following up a film that had virtually perfect pacing.
My man, I end up rewatching JP like 3 times a year.
I've come to like the sequels to that a little bit more in light of those shitty Jurassic World films.
Deep Blue Sea
the big lebowski
Fury Road
unironically End of Evangelion. a few years ago I rediscovered it and put it on at least once a week. would have it just playing in the background. I could recite the entire film line for line, shot for shot.
The Fast and The Furious
Based
Also Blade Runner
The Departed
I like EOE a lot but I can't imagine watching it all the time.
I should really rewatch the series again though.
I've found that nowadays, I can't really watch End of Evangelion and truly love it without watching the rest of the series right before it.
Goodfellas
based on the habits of my sister and mother it's got to be Ghostbusters
they must watch that movie once a month and still laugh
The Last Jedi
anything by James Cameron
all these and Weekend at Bernie's
Good fellas
Full metal jacket
Hot fuzz
Snatch
Tremors
Jaws
fuck yes
This. I think I watched it 6 or 7 times and still laughed my ass off at certain jokes, found jokes I missed the first few times. It's a perfect movie.
Raising Arizona
Half Baked
Currently watching The Matrix now on KINOFLIX, stoked they have all 3 on now. Going to binge them all I think.
Netflix has really stepped up their fucking game as of recent. The Order, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, The Matrix Trilogy, etc....
KINOFLIX
Airplane!
Oh hell yes! Fuckin' love this movie. Seen it a bunch and could still watch it once a week. Excellent pick.
There needed to be more people dying in the matrix. It felt so hollow. I didn't hear anyone on the streets.
Alita: Battle Angel.
I've seen it over 30 times, 4x at the theater in 3d.
Kys shill
>not a single arthouse film mentioned ITT
>just hollywood schlock
What gives?
Fury Road was awesome. I saw it in 3D the day it came out. Alita: Battle Angel is the only recent movie to come close.
>tfw finally watched Snatch for the first time a few months back
>tfw seen it twice since
How the fuck did I live this long without seeing this movie? Also what the fuck happened to Guy Ritchie in the 2000's?
Groundhogs day
I don't think art house is really rewatchable.
rewatchable movies are usually simpler and easier to digest.
is House any good? it's been on my list for a long time
Crank 2
I mean there's plenty of civilians that get taken over/killed by the agents and tons of guards who get rekt (not to mention most of the human team gets killed in one scene).
Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence.
Madonna unironically
Also don't watch rocknrolla it'll ruin the taste in your mouth of his kino
Been putting this off for a while now, what exactly is House about?
I'll keep that in mind, are any of his other movies worth checking out besides Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels?
House is cheesy but worthwhile. A lot of good matte paintings, some nudity and cute girls, and quintessentially Japanese Horror (maybe not, but as far as the weirdness it is).
A lot of arthouse isn't really "high brow" at all and completely accessible. E.g. Tarkovsky wanted his audience to experience emotion more than anything else, which doesn't require much brain power or understanding of film.
neo's journey through masculinity
This
>that prime irene jacob
>that haunting score
Brings tears to my eyes every time and I don't even know why.
Revolver
Not that pile of shit.
Starship troopers
Conan the barbarian
Fellowship of the ring
Gantry:O
*Gantz
I gotta go with this Kino.
Ace Ventura (almost all Jim Carrey movies are actually)
The Fast and the Furious
Billy Madison / Happy Gilmore
Twister
Wizard of Oz
Lord of the rings series, fellowship of the ring in particular
House is a bunch of school girls go to a house and it's haunted only it's absolutely insane the whole time
Ace Ventura 2 is the best film to watch during a hangover.
>namefag, pass user, AND an alitafag
YIKERS
Any time
Anywhere
yes to robocop and unforgiven
All great picks
Somewhat unrelated but unfortunately I've found the Matrix has (apparently) aged the worst out all my all time favorites. I have never shown this movie to a single younger person (or person who somehow missed watching this during the time of release) and had them not tell me they didn't see what was so great about it. When I look at it objectively, I actually can see why someone with a more a modern perspective would find the film overly cliched and cheesy though.
OP's post or Goodfellas.
Dazed and Confused
Training Day
Trading Places
Matrix sequels...
Groundhogs day
Groundhogs day
My picks
>matrix trillogy
>independence day
>black hawk down
>saving private ryan
>lord of the rings trillogy
>all of the harry potters
>braveheart
That's what I got so far. I have rewatched all of those the most.
Big Trouble in Little China.
Yeah, that's right. Me.
That's not Starship Troopers.
Zoolander but Die Hard 4 is rewatchable too
Fuck, give us Crank 3 already, Amy Smart it's still hot kinda.
..Son of a bitch got dubs..
Ahem. You're welcome
It's clearly half of a movie because they put way too much into the Keymaker, who should've been done with his bullshit by the middle of Act 2, and they talk about machines coming to Zion but it never happens until the next movie.
If Reloaded has an actual Act 3, it would've been much better.
LotR
The Big Lewbowski
Many adventures of Winnie the Pooh
I watch The Mummy from 1999 every two months or so. It's up there with The Fifth element.
I’ve watched it 8 times, the eighth time being yesterday
Came here to post this
unironically this. always watch when it is on
Kung Pow
A L I E N
You know you can fuck off, right?
Came here to post this.
Isn't it obvious, OP?
Terminator 2, I've probably seen that 300 times since it came out, still find enjoyment in it.
KIMBL!
The Road Warrior
The Thing
Fuck i think this guy is right
I've watched the original Star Wars more than anything and really the whole OT. They used to run a marathon on USA once or twice a year and of course it was on every other channel. I'm also talking about the unedited originals.
Blues Brothers
Stripes
Tossup between Star Wars and Last Crusade
>"I didn't kill my wife!"
>"I don't care!"
Great choice
Galaxy Quest
Office Space
Idiocracy
Event Horizon
I remember loving LW as a kid. Does it hold up as an adult? I haven't watched it in probably over a decade and I've heard ppl generally don't like it
The Outsiders
Back to the Future
Breakfast Club
My Cousin Vinny
I remember the first time I saw Event Horizon on HBO when it was brand new. I had no idea it would turn into a super gory horror film. That scene when they finally get the video working of the original crew is still fascinating to me along with trying to see exactly what is happening.
I wish more people would recognize the greatness of The Thing. I fee like it gets forgotten amongst the all time great sci-fi movies.
Back to the Future is another one of those trilogies where the second one is better than the first, and the third is dogshit.
See also: Aliens and The Godfather 2
DON'T see the third movies. In fact there are no third movies. They were never made
13th Warrior. Will never get tired of this movie.
wow... I remember when I was a kid I used to watch galaxy quest like twice a week.
Fuck yeah, you are spot on.
The Last Samurai. Perfect pacing, great atmosphere.
Gladiator. I've seen that movie a million times
GATTACA
Good way to memorize the lines
Fight Club.
bit of a coincidence but i've seen John Wick several times
Con Air
Dr. Strangelove. Every time you watch it you notice more and more hilarious shit.
I think it’s the greatest comedy movie of all time.
Zoomers can't appreciate anything that's been parodied in media before.
I still enjoy it but you'll notice the plot and characters are really fucking dumb on a rewatch.
Personally I love it because it feels more like a horror movie and I still get antsy during those T-Rex scenes on the island.
My nigga!
fuck sake the advertising is so obvious it makes me want to vomit
Pic related
(Robocop)
(Breakfast Club)

In the Mouth of Madness
Prince of Darkness
Bram Stoker's Dracula (Fucking kino cinematography)
Blade Runner

28-32?
Good taste, bud.
Some of my other choices have already been posted so I will go with...
Christmas with the Kranks
Death Race
Prince of Darkness
Walk the Line
Nightmare before Christmas
Netflix is for people who don’t appreciate kinos.
The Matrix is laughable when you rewatch it.
BASEketball
SST
clockwork orange
Fast times
Stoned age
>predator 2
>alien movies past aliens
>robocop 2
Man you’re so close.
>Not appreciating the horror kino that is Alien 3
>Not getting a laugh at the overacting and pure Ron Perlman of Alien Resurrection
>Hating Predator 2 PERIOD.
>Robocop 2 being anything less than stop-motion porno.
No, user. It seems like you're close. I'm already there.
Still one of my favorites also Twister i just have a thing for mid 90s. Also rip Bill Paxton and rip Val Kilmers career
Forest Gump
Back to the future
Lotr
Ghostbusters
I've watched IT (2017) about 10 times so far. I don't know what it is about that movie.
>IT
more like SHIT kek
Your a pedo prolly.
I'll second the original Star Wars trilogy. When I was a kid I watched them hundreds of time on VHS.
A really re watchable movie can't be too serious it needs to be fun and it really helps if it has a degree of escapism to it. Scifi and fantasy films tend to be the best but anything that gives you a setting you'd like to occupy....I can rewatch the hell out of old Miami Vice episode for example simply because circa 1984 to 86 Miami looks so appealing.
I've watched it over a thousand times. As a kid I would watch it, rewind the VHS and then watch it again immediately.
Yes
You don't watch movies do you?
Inherent Vice - I revisit that film more often than any other recently
In general though LOTR trilogy the most rewatchable kino of all time
Scott Pilgrim VS The World
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Did it too. I'd cheat and fast forward up until the dinos show up though:p.
Honorable mention to Willow, Army of Darkness and Braindead/Dead Alive.
Rocky IV.
Nicely paced, simple story, captures that 80s feel, great soundtrack with plenty of memorable scenes. It's Sylvester Stallone's magnum opus.
synecdoche new york
This, also LotR and Blade Runner
Ocean's 11
Dune
>tfw i was sick in bed and watched the lotr trilogy and that one movie where they eat each other in the mountains all day
ill never be more comfy
Friends. From the start to finish. Don't debate me.
Its too formulaic.
>he pays for Yea Forums
Fear and Loathing
Mission: Impossible
Transformers 2007
Bad Boys I and II
Pain and Gain
Ocean's 11
Road Trip
Fellowship of the ring
John Woo's The Killer
I could watch Hard to be a God over and over again. I like the atmosphere of that movie and for some reason I really enjoy how there's so much random crap lying all over the place in every scene.
I think I've watched this more times than JP.
I can watch Day of the Dead anytime not only my favorite horror film but it has a kino synth soundtrack
>used to have the original release on VHS
>threw them out along with all other VHS years after the tape degraded in quality to the point of being hard to watch
I wish I had held onto them so much. It would have been easier to convert them to digital than jumping through all the hoops to get these despecialized versions.
Forrest Gump
My DVD box set of Star Wars OT has the original release on the second discs.
I wish I'd converted my old VHS tapes to DVD as well, there's some stuff I've never been able to replace — My mum gave my old boxes of tapes to my half-brother's school jumble sale. I wanted to murder them both, I was so pissed.
Old school animation movies like Ice Age, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Shrek and Monster's Inc.
> I LISTENED!!!
> Your words are twisted and feeble like an old womans
Fuck yeah, this is such a rewatchable movie but I have no idea why. It just doesn't get old
Lord of the Rings Trilogy Extended edition
Watch it once a year at a minimum and those are 4 hours each mind you. So I watch 12 hours of LotR annually at a minimum and it still hasn't gotten stale
Ghost busters.
It is only rewatchable if you fast forward the Zion scenes, then 100% yes.
>Old school animation movies like Ice Age, Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Shrek
Yeah you are just trolling. At least say lion king and little mermaid
If you haven't read anything about Ahmad ibn Fadlan, I highly recommend looking into it. The film was based off Eaters of the Dead, which was based of Fadlan's writings. It puts a lot of Banderas' character into greater perspective, as well as narrative of the movie, particularly the
>dirty smelly savage vikings
scenes before he comes to his own with them.
Every class/course/training/whatever even remotely related to philosophy
>We'll start by watching this movie called the Matrix, which illustrates the concept of Plato's cave
>FUCK NO, NOT AGAIN, LET ME OUT OF HERE REEEEEEEE
>by the way, attendance is mandatory ;^)
You have never taken a philosophy course. That doesn’t happen
Maybe not in Yale or whatever gay place you dream about
I don't want to blow this out of proportion but anyone coronating The Mummy (1999) as a great or even adequate movie has the morality of a Gestapo informant.
T. Philosophylet
If anything Yale is more likely to have meme shit like matrix classes while the state schools stick the real stuff
someone should post the MEGA for the 2 sequels combined into a single movie DE ZIONIZED version where someone took out all the boring zion shit... its probably the best way to watch the sequels. Some of the cuts are too jarring but its still better to have a huge cut that ruins the flow than to have to sit through i kid you not... 1.5 hours of zion shit
tokyo drift for me is some of the most rewatchable kino ive ever seen. it not only shows japanese life but it fuses it with the american fast and furious bits. its very good
The Mask
Spielberg flicks and Arnold flicks. If they're on I'll usually keep watching to the end no matter how many times I've seen them.
Starship troopers
alien
aliens
house of a thousand corpses
devils rejects
anything Friday the 13th (not all but most)
The thing
event horizon
Hell-raiser series
wish master series
leprechaun
spaceballs
robin hood men in tights
kung pow
lock stock 2 smoking barrels
snatch
Black hawk down, dunno why but i watched the shit outta this one when i was younger.
Killer clowns from outer space
Critters
robocop 1 and 2
the blob
there are more for me but just off the top of my head these come to mind
Unironically "we are the millers"
This is peak pleb. Only the chateau fight and the first agent fight are even remotely decent and even then they're all choregraphed like some shitty chinese kung fu movie instead of the pseudo realistic weighted style of the first movie. The highway chase is also shit while we're at it.
Kill bill 1 never ceases to entertain me
Too lazy to skim through thread but Who Framed Roger Rabbit is an amazing piece of work.
The GOAT
Every thanksgiving, never gets old
I do this yearly too and end up dedicated a week or two to the OT and all of its documentaries/behind the scenes work.
all good choices
Terminator 2
Cable Guy
Dumb and Dumber
This is even moreso when you're from Chicago
A large amount of the older Bond films are super rewatchable. Spy Who Loved Me or Diamonds Are Forever for example
I'd say all the star wars, LOTR, Harry Potter starting at movie 4, matrix trilogy, predator,
Fight club
My niggas. If SHTF it's the one movie I'd save to hopefully get the chance to watch one last time.
The Thing
The Shining
Silence of the Lambs
Contact
2001
Stargate
Star Trek TOS films
The Matrix
Primer
Alien
Bladerunner
I'm sure there's a few others but those are the ones I will watch multiple times a year
What? I liked RocknRolla well enough.
Watch Layer Cake. It's from one of the producers of the Ritchie films. It has the same energy.
Not a popular answer, but I personally watch Dredd regularly.
Yea Forums doesn't like Dredd?
Based and redpilled. This is the true answer.
I rewatch GOT quite a bit
bet you watched the shitty dub fucking faggot
Cast away
Alita: Battle Angel.
>namefag
>pass user
Kill yourself.
