Which moment was more hype, Cap lifting the hammer in Endgame, or Thor’s arrival in Wakanda in Infinity War?
Which moment was more hype, Cap lifting the hammer in Endgame, or Thor’s arrival in Wakanda in Infinity War?
Thor arriving hands down.
when thor played fortnite and hulk hit the dab i pogchamped
Thor
Thor definitely
Thor.
Cap's scene (and all of the third act) needed more time, which is weird considering the movie is THREE HOURS LONG
Cap getting the hammer. That was the end of the movie for me. Didn't give a fuck about the rest after that. It could've rolled credits and I'd have been just fine.
Thor.
My session was too slow to realize the meaning of that, unlike Thor's arrival
Cap lifting the hammer barely had any music, Thor arriving had the main Avengers theme blasting. I don't know how they fucked up the music choice for Cap so bad
>board known for hating endgame and loving infinity war
>"did you love highlight from the movie you hated or highlight from the movie you loved more?"
what did you expect?
Best moments in the MCU desu
>known for hating endgame
What?
Thor’s arrival
Cap lifting the hammer has literally no effect on the plot because thanos still btfos him like 30 seconds later. It's a huge waste.
>Thor arriving has literally no effect on the plot because thanos still btfos literally everyone like 5 minutes later. It's a huge waste.
Thor. I don't get what's so special about Cap lifting the hammer. Actually felt that it cheapened the story. Is that some kind of comic geek shit that plebs like me don't get?
Why is nobody mad at the Avengers for failing to defend the human race?
>Kids walking up to Hulk asking for selfies.
>While half of all living creatures are wiped off the planet.
>No angry mob rushing the diner towards Cap, Ant-Man, Widow, and Hulk
>WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE US?
Even during the support group scene, why wasn't that angry fag mad at Cap for losing to Thanos?
>"You know how hard it is, for a gay guy my age to find a lover? ...I'm so alone."
...I'd be raging hardcore and taking swings at them.
t. Zack Snyder
>Getting mad at the only people who even had a chance to stop Thanos in the first place
That and after 5 years I'm sure a lot of people had moved forward in the grieving process.
They probably didn't make the whole "we won't trade Vision" thing public knowledge too because then people would have a right to be mad.
I’m more fucking mad we got 0 proper hulk scenes, he’s got 10 minutes screentime and it’s all professor hulk Saying memes with kids or talking about how he’s not as smart as tony.
They built up no hulk for all of infinity war and not only do we not see how he became professor hulk but also no hulk vs thanos rematch
this
youtube.com
Cap leading the final charge.
Thor arriving because it was in a much better movie.
>no hulk vs thanos rematch
this is what made me the most upset with Endgame
>ironman 1v1
>thor and cap 2v1
>no hulk
blame captain femdom for taking his spot in the end
>caring about hulk
Why? There's nothing there in the MCU, just a dumbass and his autism wrangler Banner.
Thor. I could watch tiny Rocket jumping off his shoulder over and over.
Cap.
...
The former, because it was unexpected.
Thor arriving had way more build up over the entire movie and when he arrived you just KNEW the tides of that battle would turn.
Cap lifting the hammer was neat but really had no impact other than it being cool for 1 minute.
can u upgrade the quality of this webm jesus fucking christ.
I dont remember either desu
Thor
Endgame final battle lasted like 10 minutes and Thanos did jack shit. I was expecting a cosmic level battle straight from the comics full of crazy naruto shit but instead I got your typical boring western final boss battle shit.
Well in the shitty Marvel netflix shows people were angry at the Avengers just for fucking up new york so I bet a lot of people really were angry. I also bet a LOT of people worldwide killed themselves after many friends and family members just died all of a sudden, but I doubt Hulk brought them back too.
Aquaman mind controlling thousands of fish
>Thor arriving had way more build up over the entire movie and when he arrived you just KNEW the tides of that battle would turn.
Plus there was the cathartic effect of him not eating shit anymore after two movies straight and finally wrecking shit up.
Ummm sorry, we're discussing GOOD superhero movies.
this.
i knew it was gonna be the last time he was going to say "Avengers Assemble"
>They probably didn't make the whole "we won't trade Vision" thing public knowledge
They did kill Vision though. Thanos just time reversed it.
WHICH FUCKING MOMENT WAS COOLER
WHERE THE ACTOR IN FUNNY CLOTHES PICKS UP A CGI HAMMER AND TALKS FUNNY
OR WHEN ANOTHER ACTOR IN ANOTHER MOVIE WAS FLYING WITH ROPES ATTACHED TO HIM ON CGI BACKGROUND
CAN'T CONTAIN THE HYPE FOR MY FAVORITE SUPERHEROES I CAN'T RELATE TO IN ANY MEANINGFUL WAY. ALSO I LOVE THAT MOST OF THOSE MOVIES ARE NOT EVEN SHOT IN REAL LOCATIONS, HELL YEAH
What about the best moment in the mcu? "YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SQUISHED MY WALKMAN" and then Starlord kills his biological father to save his girlfriend and a talking racoon to a mumford and sons song
>Cap lifting the hammer barely had any music
I couldn't tell because of all the clapping and cheering in the theater.
>build up
Cap holding the hammer was 4 movies worth of build up, it has been anticipated since the first Avengers movie when people found out Cap and Thor were going to be in the same movie, it was even teased on Age of Ultron.
Does he only control fish or can he control sea mammals as well?
I haven't seen the flick yet
>Which moment was more hype, Cap lifting the hammer in Endgame, or Thor’s arrival in Wakanda in Infinity War?
Thor
I literally left my wife with her black boyfriend for a moment and walked out of the screening room because I was that much shaking after Captain America said:
AVENGERS
Assemble...
Holy fuck i hope they felt the same joy
OMG I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHEN HERO #876 FOUGHT VILLAIN #931
My kid ruined the moment for me because he asked why captain america looked so funny when he was saying the line. This is why abortion should be legal :/
all marine life (unclear on aquatic non marine life)
We don't talk about Aquaman's seal, sea lion and dolphin "friends". Especially not the dolphins.
>Thor's the best part of Infinity War
>Thor's the worst part of Endgame
Why did they do it?
cool scenes, we enjoyed them
let me start then
arya killing NK
My theater kept wooing and clapping for every little thing. They stood up and gave an ovation at the end. No one from the movie is in bumfuck Oklahoma. Disney can't hear you.
REEEEEEEEEEEEE
avengers are fucking EPIC
can someone else worthy of the hammer summon the hammer away from thor at any given time, or only when thor wills it?
I couldn't believe when they killed Iron Man :((((
At least I have my onions to cheer me up :)
haha dude good one, that stuff is way too silly to have actually happened in the movie tho
Easily Cap. That had years of buildup and was great as a sendoff for the character. Thor arriving in Wakanda was cool but it had more of a 'Oh good now Thor is here' feeling. Cap lifting the hammer is where the MCU jumped the shark.
You could tell as well because when Thor showed up in Wakanda there were a few 'woos' but when Cap lifted the hammer there was a torrent of autistic screeching and applause
MCU is truly the masterpiece of this century of filmmaking
Can you imagine more epic moments than these? I truly cannot.
i felt physical pain looking at this image. thank you
Cap fighting Cap.
>I could do this all day
>YEAH I KNOW
Thor is fine in Endgame. His collapse into depression is reasonable given the hell he'd been through in Dark World, Ragnarok and IW. He'll bounce back just fine now that he's helped fix everything.
onions are tasty
this is true
no burger is complete without them
Avengers x blacked crossover fucking when? :D
Thor no contest. I honestly think that IW Thor is as good as we're going to get with his character.
>lol why didn't people bully Vietnam Vets for losing the war?
I was with my girlfriend and her male friend in a theater for endgame. I wish they wouldn't kiss with each other when I am nearby, next time I won't go with them.
he had ZERO time to mourn. All he did was fight. And even after all that, killing future Thanos solved nothing.
Shitposters haven't seen a single film from before 1970. They couldn't name one without Google.
They've abandoned him now for sure
Dats my hammer, nigga
whats this samefag's problem
Wanda and the thanos fight.
The moment when cap gave his shield to the minority guy, representing the new BLACKED era for Amerika
Cap because of all the sick combos he did with the hammer and shield.
Assemble > Hammer > Thor
I’ll actually give them props in the regard that they could have had Cap use the hammer for one shot to create that same moment, but they actually had him use it repeatedly and even took it with him at the very end when he time travels
Honestly with the route they took it makes sense, a regular hulk wouldn’t have been able to do a complex mission for a infinity stone unless it involved throwing somebody off the temple for the soul stone.
Why do Americans do this
If "our" Thor took Mjolnir from the past, wouldn't that mean that the Thor of that timeline wouldn't have access to it anymore?
No because Cap brought it back when he put the stones back
cute baby tranny
No, the better moment was the gay scene, when we realize few heterosexual men of Cap's generation would be open-minded toward homosexuality. Twelve years in our contemporary world would erase such a basic cultural aversion to homosexuality. It would be like us being transported 60 years into the future and finding pedophilia widely accepted. Sorry, no. No amount of cultural acceptance would change our minds about that.
The issue of Cap being a man out of time was one I wish they had explored a bit more, particularly the unavoidable clash of values. Just about anybody from that era would give today's snowflakes severe indigestion.
But in the end Cap puts that all that behind and becomes a modern day man, with modern values, proving he truly is worthy.
That is the better scene, by far.
BASED HULK DAB
I preferred Endgame. But both were good.
infinity war was anime as fuck and it was awesome
endgame needed more moments like this
that said cap calling mjolnir was hype as all fuck
>lol why didn't people bully Vietnam Vets for losing the war?
they bullied vietnam vets just for being there dumbfuck
I feel bad for euros that dont have audiences that cheer appropriately. Its hype as fuck.
I went to see Endgame alone and I cheered out loud "Fuck Captain Marvel!" audibly during the Thanos bitchslap scene and the young couple next to me gave me a weird look.
the third act battle was tacked on because it didn't really make sense with the story. Theoretically the story called for a smaller more personal battle with thanos but they had to shoehorn in like every fucking hero ever in this weird no-sense one off battle.
cheering is fine, clapping is annoying
based. Doing gods' work, kid.
My absolute motherfucking nigger.
Cap, without a single doubt.
Thanks. I feel like I do my part in tipping this clownworld back into balance. I left so many "*triggered* is this a personal attack" comments on Brie Larson videos on YT, kek.
Hulk got jobbed out really hard. They needed professor hulk in the movie because hulk wouldnt have the smarts to reverse the snap properly but the reverse snap should have fucked up hulk again with gamma radiation and real hulk gets blooted up even bigger and more powerful than he was but he uses that power to hold up the building and save scott, clint and rhodey because now the real hulk feels heroic and wanted.
Neither is fine. If you do it at the end of the movie when the credits are rolling its cringy but harmless. If you do it while the movie is playing you are the absolute worst kind of human being and there is a special rung in hell for you.
Doe "Captain America"(lmao) have diabetes and love nigger porn? what a fucking retarded concept for a superhero
Cap tightening his shield to stand up to thanos's army all alone
I didn't really care for endgame. Maybe Ill try to rewatch it later on.
Iron man AND Cap both die? what the fuck. If one had to die for whatever reason, why not just have cap put on the glove and snap his fingers, and just skip the whole stupid explaining their version of time travel and then brake their own rules.
lmao
have sex you miserable faggot
Thor is the most egotistical character and most certain of his own ability to stop thanos.
>thoroughly beaten by thanos because he made fatal stupid mistakes
>blames himself for everything and hides from the responsibility.
Plus he's been recast as the goofy avenger who brings comedy because his Shakespearean serious movies didn't really work but his ridiculous comedy was amazing.
are incels still not done with this shit??? stop fucking posting garbage thread just to boost your own opinion
I just came back from watching the movie. Was great. Not even a big capshit fan either, but I must admit that it was a powerful movie.
Also they ruined The Hulk, Professor hulk was basically just big green bruce banner.
He had no smash/fight scenes, and when he was trying to hold up some rubble and failed, needing to be saved by fucking antman...... why couldnt in this moment he get mad about not being strong enough to save his friends, watching them drown, get angry and fling that rubble like nothing.....
>Cap lifting the hammer has literally no effect on the plot
it was still dope as fuck
powerful in what way?? esp when the movie just basically retcon every past movies. the character themselves acted like a different person. sure there are cool moments but the movie is an overall disappointment but its too hyped to be criticized and its marvel. people will flock on it as long as its marvel even the bandwagons and posers
couldn't agree more. First they needed Bruce to get screentime where he created professor hulk as a way of basically ridding himself of the hulk but also explaining that he really wasn't as strong that way. You need professor hulk for the un-snap to work. But then the unsnap being gamma radiation gives you the perfect excuse to unleash an even more powerful hulk to take part in the final fight where the hulk can see how his friends actually need him and he is heroic because he was the only one strong enough to control the snap and save everyone from the rubble.
What was retconned?
Wakanda's arrival in Endgame.
The theater of whites clapped and wooed.
What was retconned? x2
You all mad cause hulk sucked, he always sucks he is one of the worst things in marvel comics.
kek
imagine playing vidya with korg, meek, and thor while cracking beers and some pussy
sounds comfy
Fuck off Snyder
Thor's arrival. It was much better timed, with great use of the main theme.
Cap lifting the hammer was cool, but it didn't really change things more than lifting him from ragdoll league to semi-relevant.
He's good for detecting all the 8-year-olds
>y hulk no smash!? raaawwrrgghhh I want smash! hulk strong! thinken hurts me brain, words are for weak!
they basically forgot or choose to forgot all the character developments for cap, thor and basically erased what could/would happen in GotG so basically the just retcon Cap1, cap:the winter soldier , CW, GotG 1 and 2, thor 1 and 2
Both are pretty high up there. Tbh Captain America is more soul. Thor arriving is more badass though.
That still doesn't explain anything
>not having a literal heart attack at the scene Cap being worthy of the hammer
casual
Wanda beating the shit out of Thanos. A female character having earned their win, unlike Mary Sue's like Rey and Carol.
The Avengers all pretty much forgot about Vision, just like the Russo's.
>all these seething faggots itt that are mad because we watch and enjoy capeshit
The absolute state
Captain America with the hammer is just shitty fan service. The entire movie was just fan service desu.
Infinity War is much better.
Didn't that happen mid fight, Cap stole Stormbreaker for a second?
It was confirmed by the directors that the surviving heros chose not to tell the world what the snap was. Normies know it as the disappearance. They chose to not tell the world they failed to avenge
>Bucky just shooting a completely ordinary gun during the battle
>not even some hyper advanced bow like Hawkeye, not even using martial arts and electric batons like Black Widow
>Literally just shooting aliens with an assault rifle
What a mad lad.
Hulk is bad and boring, but Bruce is great. Endgame screwed up him massively by making him exclusively a comedic relief and sticking him in permanent Hulk form offscreen. At least his scene with the Ancient One was nice.
Holy shit those screams are annoying. I know people cheered initially when they saw him pick it up bit everyone just stfu after that.
7.62 caliber bullet works a lot better than some shitty magic
>shitty magic
Don't bully Doctor Strange he's literally the only ACTUAL magical character they have and I really want them to give him a movie where he doesn't suck. They basically had to give him a river to hold because he'd be too powerful and make the battle too easy otherwise. At least he's not Black Panther running around punching people while wearing a bouncy suit.
It does yeah.
I MEAN, THIS
HE CAME STRAIGHT IN FROM SPACE AFTER BEING RESURRECTED WHEN HE BASICALLY DIED FORGING A LIGHTNING AXE WITH A NEUTRON STAR
ITS STILL SKEWS TO CAP CUS ITS HIS RETIREMENT MOVIE, AND RDJ DOING I'M IRONMAN, EGO TILL THE END BASED AF
ARE YOU OKAY?
FANTASTIC
> Don't bully Doctor Strange he's literally the only ACTUAL magical character.
Don't believe Agamotto's lies.
Wanda is a Not-Mutant though, she's not pure knowledge of sorcery, in fact at lest as far as the movies go she's more psionics than magic.
Then why did cap America casually mention thanos during the therapy scene at the start? As if it's something that's already fairly known by everyone?
>Being possessed by a demon is the same as using actual skill
Infinity War is much better than Endgame
AVENGOYS ASSEMBLE(for israel)-Captain burger
Both sound gay. Lol at capeshit fans.
Meh I wanted more. He should've shouted it like a battle cry. Like pic related
Thor?
Thor is fucking weak
Cap
Thor was expected. You knew the whole movie was leading up that moment. Cap took me by surprise, I was just expecting to say some super patriotic speech that would distract Thanos for Captain Marvel to plow him with her feminine dick
Man, watching this makes me appreciate the local audience where I live. Doesn't matter how fucking trash the film is, people here have the common decency to treat every single movie as if it's the greatest kino ever put to film, never ever fucking ever have to deal with anyone talking, phones ringing, much less the whole fucking room erupting into cheers and screams. It's even difficult to make my local audience laugh out loud.
I don’t get why people aren’t just shot in the head in these movies. Captain America can’t stop 7.62 going through his head. Even thanos bleeds from blunt force from iron man. What was stopping Bucky from just shooting him in the head when he didn’t have the gauntlet
No that would have been cringey and memey. His slightly angry quiet Assemble worked perfectly, Yea Forumsshitter. Sorry.
Endgame is fucking trash. Posting real kino
This is the movie where Thor yells at a kid over Fortnite and the Hulk dabs, and you're worried about Captain America yelling a rallying cry to his forces as being meme and cringe.
You're a weird man.
Nothing cringe about fortnite and dabbing you out of touch boomer. cringe.
I'm not defending those cringe moments though. I'm saying the Cap's portrayal of the easy-cringe-cliche line was actually made good and not cringey by how he acted it out.
THOR A LITERAL GOD WHOS BEEN THROUGH ALL THE SHIT ON GODLY SCALES IS THE BEST DEVELOPED AND MOST AWESOMELY DEVELOPED CHARACTER IN THE MCU
COULD KICK CAPTAIN MARVELS STUPID ASS, ENGINE EXPLOSION TO UNBEATABLE MARYSUE BULLSHIT FAAACKOFF
Tom Holland and Harley Keener Ty Simpkins are so handsome.
>WHY DIDN'T YOU SAVE US?
thank god marvel never hired snyder to direct their movies
Is this one of those things about where every expectation has to be subverted? They already played around with the line on Age of Ultron by cutting to the credits right after "AVENGERS", I don't actually even remember if there's ever been an "honest" delivery of it and there are just SO many other things about the premise and setup of the whole scene that are outlandish and out there, that this detail in particular just comes off as a really weird one to focus on and say that the movie is made better by having it being avoided.
I don't see why it would be cringeworthy, is what I'm saying. Cliche, sure though.
Thor, try pressing that "Caps Lock" button on your keyboard thingimajig before posting next time. Thanks. It helps us mortals read a lot better if you do.
Were you going to start after you posted maskless bad acting man?
