Why is Yea Forums so upset about superhero movies?

>"The good guys always win!"
This can be said about literally 99.9% of all fiction. Most of your favorite stories do this too.

>"It's not intellectual or artsy, it's just shallow entertainment!"
There's nothing wrong with that. The movies are pure fanservice, giving theatergoers the comedy, drama and action they want. Marvel in particular knows how to satisfy their customers.

The only legitimate complaint I've seen against recent superhero movies are the forced inclusiveness.

hehehee pusy

We don't care about people liking them, but its gone too far when people are hailing avengers as the greatest film of all time.

Any femThor?

>Yea Forums doesn't hate things just for being popular
newfag

woww a pusy!

This but unironically

sneed

my complaint is, they are now nothing more than cgi spectacle.
i liked superhero movies, don't get me wrong. nolan ones or early spiderman flicks. hell, batman and batman returns too. they had cool feeling, like having superhero in real world. now they went too far into star wars territory. some fucking big purple alien? c'mon!
i'm actually looking forward to Joker movie.

also, mcu seems to hate female body, and female costumes too. they do their best to make them dull and mundane. i 'm not asking for nudity, but c;'mon throw baggy baggy shit away, bring some catsuits or something.

fucking based

that's a big pussy

>That’s America’s pussy alright!

That and its opposite can be both jarring. I think it's the execution that matters. When you have a more realistic gritty film but the characters are dressing up as animals it's kinda laughable. Trying to make superheroes dark, emo and edgy can fail just as bad as making them cartoony. Marvel's universe and characters are already colorful and over-the-top, so Thanos isn't really out of place. If Thanos suddenly walked into the Dark Knight, then that's when he'll be out of place. It's the execution of the idea that matters. And yeah, a lot of superhero movies miss the mark. But that doesn't invalidate the ones that don't.

yeah, thats why i m not saying i hate superhero flick. i hate these ones that are over the top. 1st ironman had balls to show terrorism on screen. now they went into abstract bullshit you cant relate anymore. thats why i really stopped caring about superhero flicks. i don't want 'grim' or 'dark', as long as it's grounded in reality.

i think batman 1989 did it the best, it was funny and cartoonish but still could play off as grounded enough. nicholson was the joker, and he managed to pull it off.
meanwhile since last few years it's almost all same shit, borderline star wars cringe tier

That costume looks very uncomfortable to fight crime with

I don't. I don't dismiss any genre on principle.

1)Because of sikret klub mentality
2)They want to think they are not NPC who consume every trendy thing and actually they a elite group of intellectuals.

Hey uhhh can you post more of pic related please?

It does t have to be intellectual to be good it just has to be entertaining. The only super hero movies I've been entertained by are the raimi trilogy, sky high and into the spiderverse. The rest to me are just plain boring no style over no substance shitflicks that literally aren't worth my time watching.

Found the gay

it's making a shit load of money, but who outside of nerd blog clickbait is calling it the greatest film of all time?

Yea Forums just try to be contrarian, but at the same time people wank over GoT with countless threads each day.
Not to mention some "anti-capeshit" anons probably also go to Yea Forums because they, in reality, enjoy comics.

Spiderman Far From Home will break Endgame's record.
