The Celestials

Me

It should be Dr. Doom

Thanos killed half the population because when a planet reaches a certain level of life Galactus shows up to eat it

Who cares

The writers will fuck up his story. Fuck sake.

This

Thanos again. Nebula gets depressed and uses time travel to get the stones and resurrect him

adam warlock as an enemy

I think the next phase will be stand alone movies and won't really tease a big bad. After that Skrulls, Doom, then Galactus.

I don't know anything about Galactus, but isn't he usually dismissed pretty quickly in the comics? Does he even have a major story arc like Thanos had in Infinity Gauntlet?

Such a stupid image. Strange can solo Galactus.

why, my peenus weanus of course :)

hahah! :D

it's my weeeeeenus peanus! :) hahah

ITT: Who's going to be the next big MCU villain after Thanos? - my answer is, of course, my peanus weenus :D

hahaha!

How do they not make dr doom look so generic? I've never seen good art of him

Problem is, Dr.Doom's design is super cheesy when brought to real life. Feige and his executive proxy, will deserve all the accolades about having a "magic touch" if they manage to successfully adapt Doom, and the F4 for that matter, to the MCU and make them not look dated and/or ridiculous. Speaking of the F4, I kinda dread their appearance, since their kids, if introduced, are such minefield to navigate. The kids are such a ridiculous powerlevel-wank that I hope they never get introduced. Also, depending on kid actors is almost never a good idea.

I can see Galactus being the next big villain.
If remember correctly, Galactus went from planet to planet and sucked the life out of them.
Guess you can have it that since Thanos snap was undo, Galactus now has his eyes on our universe.
They’ll probably have something like how Thanos was really trying to save our universe by eliminating half of life, thus making it unwanted for Galactus.

No he can't. Peak Galactus with Ultimate Nullifier destroys Strange.

Men

>ultimate nullifier
that shit, like the heart of the universe, isn't canon

Have sex

What's Black Panther, GOTG & Spidey gonna go against Galactus?

>isn't canon
Prove it.

Aren't they done yet?
YEEESH

I was under the impression that galactus was end all be all. Like the dude fucking consumes planets.

I liked when marvel zombies eventually found galactus and started eating him

KANGZ

>Who's going to be the next big MCU villain after Thanos?
God.

I’m not that familiar either. Also isn’t he a Fantastic 4 villain mostly?

Kang

Attached: 7183bba42a03c5aef370bbb25990d853.jpg (587x915, 59K)

>Fantastic Four escapes from a different universe into the MCU because galactus destroyed theirs.
>Galactus follows them into the MCU universe to keep feeding

Something like that I imagine. It properly sets up the stakes that Galactus is a universal threat by showing he already destroyed one and is set to destroy another and it explains the absence of the FF.

>tfw Galactus isn't a woman
missed opportunity to cater to the fetish crowd desu

Moleman

The bronze kneecap

big wheel

Yep it's Galactus. Titan was eaten up by Galactus. Thanos just wanted to save lives

Cell

Who gives a shit. Its not gonna be directed by chad snyder or chad nolan therefore its assumed garbage tier capeshit.

Yeah but all of the heroes have tangled with him before. Like Doom

Makes the most sense. They introduced non-stone time travel and they got the rights now that they bought Fox.

Dr. Doom guaranteed

I used to think Galactus was cool.

Then I realised he's just a big guy who likes to eat a lot. That's it really.

I think they will likely use Galactus before Doom simply because they can use Doom as an opritunity to soft-reboot they MCU after the third saga. Galactus doesn't really have the ability to do that, and it would be too early to do such a thing in the second saga.

He defeats Thanos like it's nothing and walks off as if he's squashed a bug. He's one of the most powerful beings in Marvel's universe.
Though pretty sure Thanos has literally killed off the Living Tribunal in the comics now so who knows what power levels are now?

I'm more a fan of Galacta

Kang the Conqueror

Attached: Kang_400x400.jpg (400x400, 30K)

>Does he even have a major story arc
You have the Silver Surfer stuff, The Galactus Trilogy, Abraxas, Anihilation, he plays a small role in Secret Wars and the Hickman's Galactus Herald of Franklin Richards

I would actually sit through a shitty Heart of the Infinite story line if it meant Adam Warlock appeared.

see

It's not long before a MCU reboot of the X-Men after Dark Phoenix flops.

Attached: behold my might hand.jpg (1223x1801, 408K)

They should get Snyder to direct GOTG franchise

There is a different Galactus is every universe you dipshit. He would have always had eyes for this universe.

WE

Hela's feet

I haven't seen any of them since Civil War and missed one or two prior to that but someone on here said there's already been a teaser at the end of one of the movies that sets up Adam Warlock.

They'll do Magneto, Apocalypse and Nimrod before they do Onslaught. They're gonna try and stretch this shit out for decades more.

>Galactus
>Evil
Are earthquakes and hurricane evil now?

I streamed GOTG2 couple of nights ago and it had Adam warlock in cocoon form

Strange only ever beat Galactus when Galatus was the weakest he'd ever been and with an army of superheroes helping him. Strange is trying to deal with Galactus right now in his book and he's almost helpless.

Attached: RCO005_1556114958.jpg (1987x3056, 1.49M)

There you go.

He's not evil per se but he's been an antagonist constantly. He's the natural next choice. Unless they introduce the X-Men and just go straight to Apocalypse.

can't they give "the mandarin" actual rings and motivation now? or was he killed off in IM3? can't remember

>They'll do Magneto, Apocalypse
I don't think so, and neither the Phoenix Force, Nimrod sure also Stryfe, Genosha, Legacy Virus and all the cosmic stuff Shi'ar, Brood basically all the Chris Claremont run that hasn't been done, you could add the Morrison stuff with Casandra Nova Sublime, maybe also Vulcan, the fun villains like Arcade, Mojo or Sauron will go Deadpool

WUZ

Attached: 696462-cross_time_kangs.jpg (274x825, 71K)

Can't see them not doing Magneto and Apocalypse. Even if they've been done to death. Although I suppose Apocalypse has only been done once and not well.

So what is Galactus' deal? Besides being huge and eating planets.

Like, if he was given the Thanos treatment, what kind of story would he have and what kind of story would the MCU need to tell to lead up to him

Attached: man-shrugging-type-1-2_1f937-1f3fb-200d-2642-fe0f.png (160x160, 10K)

Don't jynx it pl0x

Let's just say he is the reason big bang happened and this universe was created. He dies in the end and nova becomes the Galactus of the next universe. So he is basically universe personified

The only way to stop him (except for when it isn't) is to build the Ultimate Nullifier, a device that can erase something from existence.

Apocalypse was a clusterfuck and Magneto has been in all the movies, I'll use him as background character maybe, and ofc no Phoenix Force, I think we shouldn't see them in at least the first 3 movies. The X Men have more things other than that.

the only thing that would be a threat larger than thanos would be the cancerverse happening because the snap got reversed. I keep fucking saying this shit but nobody agrees with me.

amusing though, is the thought that they might have to use time travel again to stop themselves from reversing the snap and letting thanos do his thing..

I rather see Belasco before Magneto again

It is funnier when you write big bad

Finally a villain I can empathize with.

>The X Men have more things other than that.
No doubt. You mentioned a bunch of them. You can throw in Mr Sinister and Omega Red too. It's just that those two are the big ones and synonymous with X-Men. Magneto maybe background because the previous X-Men movies have focused on him so much but I'd be astonished to not see Apocalypse used as a primary antagonist.

Based

Attached: 1522285110842.png (727x582, 187K)

No one agrees with you because the Cancerverse is dumb.

I know they'll have to do the BoEM at some point, it's only that I'm not interested in Magneto anymore, what else could they do that it hasn't been done? Asteroid M? Onslaught? He as leader of the X Men? I think he is ruling Genosha in the Dark Phoenix movie ...

cancerverse is based, faggot

Well they can't do Onslaught without Magneto. In regards to what else they can do no idea. They might target new audiences or just figure they can save up the same old slop for a few movies and people will pay to see it because it has Marvel™ above the title.

Kang is the next natural progression. Time powers are strong enough to deal with Dr Strange and Captain Marvel. The only problem with him is with the plot holes that inevitably comes with time travelling stories. Galactus is boring, also too hard to pull off in cinema without looking retarded. Dr Doom fits more as a Loki type recurring villain archetype then an avenger villain.

entered the thread to post this

When Marvel wants to introduce a new DOOM-like omnipotent character, what they do first is making it fight Galactus just to prove how powerful is the new threat.
So yeah, Galactus is a jobber.

>So what is Galactus' deal?
he eats planets have a bunch of heralds and he is part of the cosmic entities, if you kill him that other guy that consume galaxies pop up, he help the kid of Mister Fantastic to fight the Mad Celestials

Perhaps now that the time stone is destroyed, the sorcerers can no longer prevent time travelers. Kang and his future army are now seeking to conquer the past and create a stable timeloop. He needs to build McGuffins in order to stabilize this new timestream he is making. Dr. Strange ends up creating a new temporal shield preventing all time travel.

why do people want to see galactus so bad? hes a jobber

That would be kino. Makes Thanos retroactively a hero.

Normies don't know who galactus is so when they hear about some giant guy eating planets they think "woaaaaah that's cool gotta watch that movie a trillion times!".

Normies didn't know who Thanos was until last year.

That would be kino af. Isn't Galactus all about balance in the universe? Could be why Thanos wanted to fix things?

Holy shit that would be based AF if Marvel pulled it

This is not a shill thread at all

Was Doom becoming Iron Man a mistake?

Attached: Galactus many faces.jpg (551x820, 300K)

Thanos with Infinity Gauntlet >> Galactus >> Thanos without

No. Doom is a Thanos downgrade, Galactus is a Thanos upgrade. Doom should play a role within the next phase but not the next big MCU villain.

Kino

He more of an "iron man" than Tony Stark, seems more fitting for him.

What about Galactus with the Infinity Gauntlet? He would literally ass blast Thanos into the cosmos.

I doubt the infinity gauntlet works anymore in the comics.

The thing is there doesnt have to be one villain anymore, there was only Thanos as the main villain to unite all the unrelated origin stories and establish the world. Now they can do literally ANY Marvel storyline that exists.

Will Mary Jane sell her marriage to the devil?

You need a big overarching villain to build up the stories to a climax. There's a reason the last two avenger films made such ridiculous amounts of money. They're the culmination of 10 years of movies.
Still haven't seen either though.

probably not because that only happened out of a refusal to reboot the timeline going on 30+ years. MCU has maintained consistency so far and is wisely aging the timeline with the actors so something like that would never happen.

You havent seen the movies and youre trying to tell a fan how this shit works? Lmao how does that make sense?

I've been posting bundles in this thread. I know all sorts of shit about comic lore from my youth. I'm just tired of superhero movies.
Plus a chimp could comprehend that sense behind it.

Not that guy but while things were building up to Thanos, who made frequent appearances after credits or during the film itself, I don't know how many know movie Thanos before IW besides comic fans.

lol ok, thanks for your wisdom

exactly, you can watch Infinity War without watching GotG, if Thanos is a new character who he basically is, it resonates all the same. If anything I was telling people itd be worth it because he's cool in the comics but there was never any reason to believe that based on the films.

MARVEL,

What's Marvel doing right which Star Wars isn't? The difference is undeniable.

Attached: yes.gif (498x280, 3.18M)

better characters, the script structure covers all the good development beats that people were calling formulaic at the time but work for a reason. Also lore, Marvel has a robust lore. Star Wars does too but its weird so they threw it all out in favor of familiar imagery and stories.

magic bullshit already exists in MCU. His origin story wouldn't be out of place anymore

Kevin Faige keeps things on a tight leash and knows what the fuck he's doing

GOTG should separate from MCU. They have way more potential than starshit. They just need to get rid of the reddit humor and get a good co-director

Lore.

Marvel gets to keep it's lore.

Star wars had even better lore. Problem is most of it is now non-cannon. So if you spent years being invested, you just wasted years of your life.

WE

best bet for F4 is have them originating in the ‘50/60s - their dated patriarchal family ethos is a core element of their identity, recent adaptations fail because they attempt to gloss over this - if the team are somehow warped into the present day via time travel or negative zone hijinx - then playing off the out of date morals in good humour

I dont see why they cant be new heroes, the opportunity to have them birth the Marvel universe simply isnt there and they dont have to be tied to the 60s or anything.

>Galactus thanks the avengers for getting rid of Thanos. They realize he was right all along and have to bring him back from another timeline to help them fight Galactus

Attached: 1521907309742.jpg (512x512, 85K)

galactus is the celestial that survives the reincarnation of the universe.
universe implodes and bursts into existance again, and galactus survives and remembers.
there's like 1 character above that; the literally creator.
and when I say universe, I mean all of it. multiverse, alternate realities, timelines etc. Anything characters have jumped to and from.

would be kind of neat if they slowly wound down the epicness of the series and had the next big bad be dr doom. like how casino royale countered the perpetually increasing stakes of james bond movies

"You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me."

what i dont understand about gays is big fat asses are a feminine trait, why dont you just fuck women?

Dr. Doom

Attached: Dr-Doom-vs-Celestials.jpg (1920x1080, 376K)

you have to try man ass to answer that, i did and definetly not my thing, still all straight

Attached: Beyonder-Marvel-Comics.jpg (500x1137, 126K)

fat? that tight thanos ass is all muscle (no homo).

They could make him more of a "cosmic horror lite" type of threat where he's more monstrous can't be outright defeated without destroying the universe, only stalled or stalemated, but it wouldn't be anywhere near as popular as Thanos.
