Forgotten thankfully probably one of most historically inaccurate shows i have seen.

Wasn't there also a young davinci show or something? Or was that the same show?

I love these kinds of series, I even tolerate the mediocre ones, but this one was absolute shit. I don't think I even finished the first season. And it's a shame because you can do a lot of cool stuff with young Da Vinci.

>historically inaccurate

Well it was also a bellow average drama on topof that.

I remember it because the main actress was quoted as saying she would never do nudity because "I'm an actress, not a porn star", but then the roles dried up and she showed her pussy in this.

DEATH TO THE MEDICI

kek. I remember that line so clearly.

That being said Medici is not that bad of a show. At least the first season.

Attached: Medici.jpg (1200x830, 151K)

The Medici's in Da Vinci's Demons are good in my opinion. Elliot Cowan played Lorenzo brilliantly.

I don't know about the historical accuracy and honestly, I don't care.

I REMEMBER THIS
IT WAS TERRIFICALLY ENTERTAINING
SHOULD HAVE GONE ON FOR 3 MORE SEASONS DESU

I remember the book and I stopped there.

Yes, thank you. It's good to see an actual fan of the show on Yea Forums.

The show does not shy away from the fantastical shite and it's so fun, where else can you see Assassins Creed style Apple of Eden shit in the Renaissance era

I did often feel like I wanted to play Assasins Creed after watching episodes of the show. It's a based and underrated show in my opinion.

Lord Girolamo Riario, Captain-general of the Holy Roman Church.

I loved this show. Blake Ritson was great in it.

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 48K)

His voice is memorable. And watching him and Tom Riley on screen gave you this sense of adventure.

The show received pretty good ratings despite all the faggots complaining about historical accuracy.

The opening scene where he says " Our lives are made by the deaths of others".

God damn his voice was so cool

There are these brilliant scenes that I cannot find on youtube, they contain these really good lines.

One of them being the torture scene where Tom says something of the lines of "I see things as they are, not as how they might be".

It's the kind of show you would watch more than once.

I always feel like watching a scene from the show, but there's not many individual scenes on youtube :(

Definitely up for watching it again!

His acting was hilarious
>Artistaa...

>His acting was hilarious
I found it very good and his voice was just at the right level. Never found it outlandish.

Yes. I love this show.

I want to fuck her so bad.

What shows made it big from that post GOT era of historical dramas?

The sex and the nudity scenes in the show are based. The very first scene of Leonardo was of him painting a nude model.

Rome and Spartacus are the only ones I know..

Oh and The Borgias w/ Jeremy Irons

I watched it, she was sexy in the masquerade scene.

I watched it. I enjoyed the first 2 seasons. I think it was the 3rd season that goes over the rails. It ends on that season too I think.

I thought season 3 was better than 2. I wasn't a huge fan when they were near Machu Pichu or whatever

I’ve tried to watch this 2 times already, but after the episode’s done I just delete all the files. I like the concept, since it reminds me of Hickman’s Shield which I love, and also Assassin’s Creed (back when it was good). The trailers and fan vids I see on YouTube look darn cool. Yet the actual episodes are clunky. Is it just the first few ones until they find their footing? I love Black Sails, so I want to give this a chance. Should I try a 3rd time bros? I’m not expecting Mad Men. I’m done with all high quality series (except The Wire because I’m not watching niggers), so I’m just looking for something to watch before bed and relax after Uni and studying and all.

Wasn't Dracula in this series tho? Him and Da Vinci's lightning bolt sizzling the army were like the best moments iirc

>and also Assassin’s Creed (back when it was good)

Goddamnit. Everyone thinks that all the games after brotherhood were bad.

Man that Vlad the Impaler guy looked creepy as fuck

"...they have... *heavy panting* ...my designs..."

Attached: tom-riley-da-vincis-demons-starz.jpg (900x506, 39K)

I even liked Unity user (Arno x Elise 5ever). The series went to total shit after Syndicate though.
Dunno, I haven’t seen that far, just clips. I only discovered that Dracula was in it because I also watched a few episodes of the NBC Dracula show with JRM.

>"No shit faggot. What the hell are you going to do about that?"

My favourite line from the show. Blake Ritson really is a brilliant actor.

Everything after Revelations was ass in terms of story and narrative
even Desmond got pozzed

Fuck...

Syndicate felt like a fucking Spider-Man game

Absolutely based nudity

>Da Vinci
The ignorance here is killing me. The man of the hour is Leonardo, not "Da Vinci." Vinci is the name of a town, not a person.
>pussy
Leonardo was either gay, or an asexual wizard.

The network cancelled the show mid-season and the writers had to rewrite the third season to tie up loose ends. I liked the Medici and based Riario. We need more shows set in Renaissance Italy.

>saying 'Da Vinci' instead of 'Leonardo' is ignorant
Cringe

continue

I also liked how they inserted Vlad III of Wallachia into the story. He was the right balance of creepy and entertaining.

Did they cancel it in favor of Black Sails or what?

I remember liking season 3 but thinking it was rushed. I can't believe that those fucking bastards cancelled this masterpiece.

>hear Hickman and Fraction are gonna write episodes for the show
>it’s just one each for S2 only
We could’ve had ChartMan’s autism on tv...

da vinci was a homosexual lmao

I remember that David Goyer is a fucking hack.

Attached: Penn.jpg (1163x1744, 150K)

He was accused of sodomy in 1476, but the charges were dismissed because the accusations did not meet the legal requirement for prosecution.

Becchi:
If man were meant to fly...

Leonardo:
...he would have been born with wings, yes. But a similar assertion could have been made prior to the invention of gunpowder. Or the wheel. Or any other invention conceived since the fire. I believe man will fly. And I base this assumption on the fact that God has blessed us with minds that are capable of imagining it. Anything that can be dreamt of will eventually be built. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.

One of my favourite dialogues from the show

Attached: 34883230.jpg (1152x767, 180K)

No he wasn't. I saw this show. He was a total chad and fucked bitches all the time. He loved the pussy. Fuck yeah, bro.

Sodomy is fucking gay lmao

>mocking the show's historical inaccuracy
Why do you care? Why does this bother people so much? It's still a great show overall

Attached: 1555737174847.png (657x527, 143K)

At least they bothered to give some closure unlike Banshee which too got canceled in its last season but there none of the people involved cared. It was such a shitshow lol

Another line of dialogue that I really like:

Giuliano:
Attend to your guns, Da Vinci. I've been tasked to handle this matter...

Leonardo:
And you're doing an admirable job. I hear you actually slaughtered one of the poor Sisters on the way in.

Giuliano:
It was an accident.

Leonardo:
Incompetence often is.

Attached: 4908472.jpg (1150x864, 171K)

You know, for a show that was marketed as fun schlock, it does have some great lines, plots and designs.

It's a great show and I'm going to miss it dearly. Very memorable characters.

Leonardo:
To be haunted by your mistakes, Nico, that's a fate far worse than death.
