there was always a vocal minority that hated the tuunbak. apparently it's mostly historically accurate since they found both ships and alot of the crew were so well preserved they could deduce almost exactly how they died. however there were still some mysteries that didn't make sense hence the adding of the mystical force tied to eskimo mythology hunting them to fill in the blanks
