Then

>Meereen
>Glorious golden cities
>Temples
>Pyramids
>She's essentially reclaimed her ancestral homeland, since Valyria is at the apex of Slaver's Bay
>3 Healthy Dragons
>Unsullied Legion
>Dothraki Army
>Worshipped as a God in lands where she belongs, among people who've never successfully killed a dragon and can't stop her
>Essos, giant, fertile continent, awesome ancient cities

Now
>Just some bitch
>Not even the actual heir
>Tyrion and Varys aren't even fully on board
>1 Exhausted Dragon
>1/3 of a Unsullied Legion
>Fighting over some shit stained rocks on a tiny ravaged continent of Westeros
>They have ballistas that can literally kill a dragon in less than 10 seconds

Safe to say she fucked up, and should've stayed in Essos?

She's the Caesar of fantasy raped girls.
>make a bunch of populist reforms
>get shit on

How did previous Targs rule Westeros for thousands of years or however long that was if all it takes for dragons to die is a bunch of sea peasants and ballista bolts?

Look how big Essos is compared to Westeros.

Could've stayed in Essos and the undead would've never reached her.

Yeah except for the secret society set out to assassinate her.

She's a stand in for Sauron. She had to invade. In the books she's going to have elephants, dragons, slave soldiers, and eunuchs on her side.

She just left Daario to rule over Meereen right?

Do you think the people have risen up and killed him already, or is he living the good life as their new Emperor.

>Tyrion and Varys aren't even fully on board
Never trust a westerner.
Loyalty is not in their blood.

>one exhausted dragon
Why did this make me laugh so hard.
I wonder if he thinks that those weird pink apes are no fun at all.

She didn't conquer Essos, did she? She just made a mess, then moved on to another city to ruin

why are all the essos cities so majestic and rich

and all the westeros cities are fucking shitholes? even small shabby cities like pentos or braavos are bigger and nicer than king's landing

Attached: Meereen.png (1920x1072, 2.64M)

In any kind of realistic scenario he is already dead or gone. He is hedonistic hired sword. Fuck all was solved when she left, just like in any previous city she was in.

Remember that fat nigger Daenerys had to suck off? Ten years sucking off hairy horselord mongols, foreign monkeys, unwashed sellswords and fat niggers

And all she got for it is a midget, a bunch of dickless le 56%ers, a dickless fat bald fuck, and a giant iguana.

Oh yeah, and she got fucked by her nephew.

Can we all agree she got cucked here worse than Theon?

Literally. In books the entire city is an absolute mess that would take lifetime to solve. In show she just fucked off leaving a cutthroat with zero backing or power projection in charge

D&D forgot about this guy

The dragons won initially through shock and awe. After that they were just symbols, the targs rules with regular armies and fear

Just imagining how much of a shitshow the entirety of the continent of Essos must be in in her wake now that she's gone is making me chuckle right now.

Attached: index.jpg (262x192, 10K)

Westeros is way more densely populated, there just fedual, they don't clump up in urban centers

now you know how genghis kahn felt when he contemplated taking his mongol hordes west

IT WAS HER TURN

Their dragons were older and bigger, but they still struggled against dorne who used ballistas like cersei, albeit they needed a shot through the eye to kill one

Pretty much as soon as she would leave a conquered city there would be an uprising that led to thousands of death and slavery being reinstated. She has made a much more negative impact on the commonfolk than a positive one. In the books the city she was just in is being hit by the bloody flux, people are literally shitting themselves to death.

Why didn't she just use her dragons like airplanes to fly important people around at a premium?

I bet a lot of people would pay handsomely to ride a dragon. Its not like this is a world where skydiving or hot air balloons exists.

It'd be very useful flying people across the narrow sea, the asoiaf version of the concorde

>people are literally shitting themselves to death

And now Daenerys is dealing with these three traitorous ungrateful little shits.

dumb and dumber could never come close to this quality writing

>Dysenterys Targaryen in the comments

oh no no no no no

because they use slaves which are illegal in westeros. Say what you want but atleast westeros has some morals and human rights.

Additionally dany cares way more about westeros than essos for a reason.

In the historical lore, the first Targs won only like 3 battles against the Westorosi lords and literally roasted most of their armies to death forcing them to bend the knee. The North went to the face Aegon and by then the Targs had a real army to back them up AND dragons, so Torren decided to kneel. Dorne realized the secret to defeating the Targs was to simply deny them use of their dragons in pitched battle along with clever use of ballistae. Really Aegon only won because he blitzed most everyone before they knew what to actually do.

because martin is a historyfag and the east has until the modern era had much nicer cities than the west

Why didn't anyone teach Dany about Aegons tactics

he wasn't a nog in the books, and I think he was gay, he just wanted dragons

They actually tried to do that last episode. Dany was going around burning the rear portion of the undead army while they were stuck against the flame pits and castle walls. That was literally how Aegon won one his battles, except he had three dragons his "wall" was his tiny retainer force, and he wasn't burning undead he was burning people who are much more liable to panic and run away in terror having their escape route be blocked off by fucking fire.

Rome was the biggest city on the planet for 1000 years or so

Blatantly false, there is a reason why Europe preserved its beautiful medieval cities while Asians were eager to replace them with appartment blocks
Bigger and more populated cities ? sure, bigger gdp? sure, better? not really, Europeans were unparalleled in architecture since the Romans, for evidence the most impressive mosque of Asia and the biggest building of medival era is actually a church built by the Romans

It actually is. The cities where she was previously are already in open rebellion and the slave trade is booming because she took them all away. She was a blessing for slave traders.

As it was in this series. Valyria was essentially dragon magic Rome.

>sure, better? not really, Europeans were unparalleled in architecture since the Romans
Firstly, that is your moronic opinion. Asian architecture has its own aesthetic and appeal and many had excellent construction and monuments. The forbidden city being an example. Secondly, the "East" doesn't necessarily mean Asia. For the longest period in history, the "East" meant Eastern mediteranian such as Egypt and the Levant which is clearly what Meeren and Qarth are based on. And indeed, it is historical fact that most of the greatest cities of medieval era were in the near east.

At least she has starbucks

Hardly. Rome quickly became desolate once the Empire collapsed in the West. And even in Rome was the apex, it and Italy were the only good parts of the Western portion of the Roman Empire. The lands which had most of the wealth were cities in Anatolia or the Levant or the EASTERN half of the Roman Empire. It is these cities which Meeren and Qarth are modeled after.

When they were tallying up their men in the battleplan scene did they mention the dothraki? Greyworm said they lost half of their men, but was that including the dothraki or did the horse mongolians get btfo'd to a man?

The forbidden city is basically a white castle restaurant in comparison to the vatican for example.
There are several medieval castles in France that are more impressive than the imperial palace despite the people that lived there were much less powerful than the fucking Chinese emperor.

>For the longest period in history, the "East" meant Eastern mediteranian such as Egypt and the Levant which is clearly what Meeren and Qarth are based on.
Why do you think I mentioned a mosque?
>And indeed, it is historical fact that most of the greatest cities of medieval era were in the near east.
Not true, constantinople was the greatest city of the medieval era and rome the greatest of antiquity
And near east cities were only densily populated because of geography, for example in egypt they were forced to live near the nile.

whats wrong with you, bringing logic to fantasy!?

Kings landing is without dispute the biggest city in the world.

However the issue is most of the show has taken place in the north which is lightly populated and we haven’t seen much of the actual rich parts of Westeros like the reach and the westerlands that have bigger cities and towns, warmer climate etc.

Also white harbor is pretty big but they’ve never shown it in the show

>biggest city in the world

in westeros, yi ti would most likely have the largest cities

*tips hat*

It's based on how irl the biggest and richest medieval cities were in the east. Constantinople and Alexandria dwarfed London and Paris for a while.

>for evidence the most impressive mosque of Asia and the biggest building of medival era is actually a church built by the Romans
By the Eastern Roman Empire. By the time Justinian built the Hagia Sophia, it had been nearly a century since the Western empire fell.

They called themselves Romans until 1453 and the ottoman sultan added “emperor of Rome” to his titles
