he hasn't done shit the past fifteen seasons or whatever but he might be the only character that is still himself or has grown organically, and not cause the plot demanded it

this unfortunately

it's painfully obvious that tyrion will sell out varys to dany because he still believes he can advise her, when she's obviously a mad power-hungry queen just like her dad

>redpilled

socialist scum aren't redpilled

Didn't think of that one

he say hell serve the realm no matter the personal cost

Tyrion needs to grow the fuck up. Still a manchild trying to find something to believe in, Reddit the character. Varys is and always has been based.

but he's a pedo so that makes him bluepilled

Yep. It's sad. One of the few Good characters on the show and he's going to end up dead because the writers don't know how to handle Good characters. Tyrion is a great example of this. While he's technically still alive, his character is dead because all they know how to do is write Neutrals, so they've turned him into one. They can't even make believable Evils! They're all mustache twirling super-villains with zero depth. The last well-written Evil on this show was Tywin Lannister, and he died in Season 4 which (surprise surprise) was the last good season.

Is he really a socialist though? He just doesn't want to have random people die cus of Dany's power trip

What is he going to do?

I guess spread the word of who Jon is

I think Varys will loudly proclaim as Jon the better claim, and gets killed for it. Loudly, to get the other lords and ears to listen to this second choice whether its at the cost of his life or not.

He said everyone was entitled to be fed

SOCIALIST SCUM

>switches between every king he's ever served for

>muh shadow network of hax
>muh servant of the people
>muh tyrant subversion
>muh greater good

He's a chantard legionfag circa 2007 - 2012: the person.

he'll probably do that after he's captured by dany but yes that's entirely in character for him

will his death be better or worse than basedfingers

Tyrion will do it to protect his yasss queen.

No he didn't.

Varys is the skeptical conservative of the show

He won't do anything of note that the plebs will notice--even though he is right--which is why normalfags will begin to truly hate Dany when she burns him.

There world isn't our world user so calm your edgelord tendencies. The average citizen in the world of Westeros deserves a brighter salvation to move up in the world.

Did you even watch the show?

He and Davos.

verys seemed to me to be an advocate of reforming the government to be a republic, which seems possible with the way the backpatting writers are going, but maybe I'm overrreading his cynicism

He said that everyone should be allowed the freedom to feed and care for their children. He said nothing about the distribution of wealth, you retard. You don't even know what socialism is.

>commies
>reds
>not redpilled
take your gay /pol/tard shit elsewhere. socialism/communism is the only true redpill

Samefag.

>Tywin Lannister
>being evil

Tywin was a smart Lord in a Time and Land were stupidity kills you and all words are just shallow if they arent backed by power

Attached: DzcGU5cUUAAuQE-.jpg (640x723, 22K)

Based retard.

I gurantee in the books Dany kills him because of griff or because hes a blackfyre. Kind of makes me think george only gave dabbid the end points

Varys and Sansa are the last sources of intrigue left.

Which one of them do you think leaked that info to Cersei/Euron?

We know he will die because Melisandre told him his future, the lord of light showed her both of their deaths.

Tywin is very putinesque. Is Putin evil? Hes a hero in Russia

Kill yourself

>There
>edgelord
90s born queer shut the fuck up

he killed his dad and was put on a very public trial for it. pretty sure everyone thinks he's evil.

I mean it's not hard to be seen as a hero when you can bribe or dispose of anyone who says otherwise.

Its just a matter of how he dies really, does he have Dany assassinated and is killed for treason, or does he get killed by her for treason and is the last push in everyone else realizing she has lost her mind.

So can tywin

His Dad was a weak Moron who let his Mistress run around with his Wife Jewels. He almost ruined House Lannister. Tywin killing him was the right choice. And who cares in this world what people are thinking, especially when its peasants covered in shit.

I like how in one episode everyone stopped giving a shit about the giant gaping whole of the White Walkers being the main threat to the world and went right back to political intrigue.

Not even a try for a rebuttal. How has socialism hurt you, user?

Is Dany going to burn him alive?

Varys is the only character that actually gives a fuck

I'm not the guy you responded to. I just hate retarded faggots like you.

Why haven't you killed yourself yet?

>Backing Dany since late S1
>Gets cold feet NOW

Virgin Varys, Chad Littlefinger.

>Carrying water for Socialism in 2019
Yikes.

>You know realize that Dario Nahaaris will rule Mareen while every Woman in Essos will be happy to fuck him.

Varys has always been carefully ensuring the rulership of a rightful Targaryen. He is faithful to Illyrio Mopatis, i.e. his same cause.

Yeah I don't know where you get Tywin being evil from. Being stern and sensible doesn't equal evil and they made the tv Tywin about 100x more nice and likeable than the book version.

>chantard
Hi Tumblr

This. Dany is a covert Narcisst who thinks shes hot shit because she was raped sold into slavery and survived a fire. Shes so far up her own asshole that she doesnt understand what humility is. If she had any good sense she would kill Cercei and then abandon her claim to the throne because she should realize how the power has already corrupted her and that shes an immature child not prepared for the burdens of ruling.

>populism is socialism

Jon is basically a good guy and he's still alive.

Point is he hasn't grown at all
Literally this episode was him stating "I have and always will serve the realm even if the queen is insane"

you cannot be more cringe, pathetic tryharder

Varys has been a mess ever since they had to rewrite him to NOT be trying to subvert the throne for /ourboy/.

Not gonna lie the show would be so much better if Cersei had been beheaded by Aegon mere days after she destroyed the Sept of Baelor, and the final battle was the sequel to the Battle of the Bastards- the Battle of the Aegons.

>15 seasons
Lol there's only 8 ya idiot!

their problem is not being able to plot logically. if the plot isn't logical it's impossible to write smart characters. Tyrion can't come up with good plans if everything happening around him is driven by convenience, because his plans just seem to be reliant on that convenience.

>Cocks are important.

This episode was just more of the same terrible rushed quality the show's suffered for seasons. Rhaegal's death felt impossibly sudden and why did no one in Dany's envoy seem to care that Missandei would die on the spot if they refused to back off at least momentarily Clarke's acting was actually good for once, her crazy eyes were super convincing and cool. I also liked the talk Varys and Tyrion had about the future of the realm. But it was mostly boring and unnecessarily long and felt like nothing important happened despite 80 minutes passing.

feeding the entire population was literally impossible before mechanized farming, because it relied on the availability of manpower and horses (which need to be fed) as well as land (which is finite) and the weather (which is unpredictable).

no senior advisor with decades of experience would ever be that idealistic. Varys's claim to want the welfare of the realm in the books has nothing to do with common people as individuals.

>Lol
Kill yourself

GOT episodes are essentially movie length but i can't decide if there's too much happening at once like it's being rushed, or nothing really happens at all
Feels like the writers have backed themselves into a corner with this pacing

>her crazy eyes were super convincing and cool
youre fucking pathetic

Here's a /pol/tard misinterpreting everything as always

are you retarded or do you not understand the concept that grain is easily store and that it takes less land to feed a horse than it can service
Horses don't even transport fucking food either, what do you think ox are for

k

Being a chantard is a badge of honor, you stupid newfaggot. Grow a thicker skin, babby.

Count them, 8 idiot. And lol at your pathetic meme response just because you got proven wrong

Neither. After his mortal death, he's immediately greeted by the spirit of Petyr Baelish, patiently waiting in the astral plane with a smirk. There's ghosts now and these two are teaming up. The ultimate plan beyond anyone's imagination is unveiled.

Tywin is a WAR CRIMINAL, WAR CRIMINAL, WAR CRIMINAL. He sends Clegane to do terrorism in the Riverlands and runs Harrenhal like a concentration camp. He's like Hitler invading Poland.

Yeah, ok.

wow you sure showed him

Im embarrassed for you kiddo

Tyrion has never been a servant really so he doesn't know when to switch sides, he made a bad decision. Varys is more shrewd than him now.

Varys, Tyrion, and the hound are the only reason I still watch this

>never goes to the board
>hates the board and its posters
>proceeds to guess what the content on it is anyway and present it as accurate

>the way he btfo Tyrion's progressive nonsense at every point
He's making way too much sense for this shitshow.

Reminder that Season 8 Varys
>recognizes politics is a man's domain
>is aware that the people of Westeros are even more conservative than the aristocracy
>knows what virtues are good for rulership
>knows that wantonly punishing nobility to "break the wheel" leaves you without capable managers
>was one of the first characters to detect Kelly C's madness
>understands that a legitimate crown authority is beneficial to the smallfolk
>is redpilled on Summer Islander crime stats

Attached: 1549337995974.jpg (1340x1122, 354K)

Honestly he made a fool of Tyrion in this episode. Is Tyrion in love with dany or something? He's barely processing Varys' arguments and just saying "p-pls dont hurt my waifu, m-maybe she can rule together with jon"

Imagine being so autistic you think he wasnt complaining about the patriarchy

the fuck is bobby kelly doin dressed like a jedi

how can you see his gayness in his face?

>not understanding hyperbole for the purpose of humor

This is the most embarrassing post ive seen in years.

Do you mean in-universe or out of universe? In-universe, there's probably been at least a month between the ending of episode three and the ending of episode four. They had enough time to clear the battlefield of dead, reorganize the survivors, sail to Storm's End, get their fleet sunk (again!), reorganize their survivors (again!), pull another fleet out of their assholes, and sail to King's Landing. Plus, they did devote half an episode (when there's only three remaining) to their big aftermath party (which was full of hilariously trite relationship drama), which kinda dealt with people's reactions. If you mean out of universe, it's because there's nothing new to talk about on that front, and the new episode was full of new stupidity to mock. Once the series ends and we can see exactly how awful the Winter/Others plot got mangled in relation to the rest of the series, we'll get more discussion about it.

Shut the fuck up reddit nigger

It's both. They waste 80% of each episode on bullshit filler and then cram a bunch of shit with zero development in at the ending. Then the next episode jumps ahead to people already being over the developments at the end of the last episode to get into more bullshit filler. They also keep taking something that should be one conversation (or a series of conversations that happen in close proximity) and spreading them out over multiple scenes/episodes, which kills the rate of plot progression. We've had "Jon's parentage is revealed" scenes in three out of four episodes this season, and we'll have at least one more. Jon and Dany discussing his parentage has happened twice now, and the outcome of both conversations was the same. We've had "Sansa doesn't like Dany" scenes in three out of four episodes this season, and each one just results in Sansa saying the same shit to different characters, who all just kinda stop talking and walk away due to not having a good response.

They never really bothered to develop why Tyrion has faith in Dany's inherent capability/goodness, so it's impossible for him to actually justify it now that it's called into question.
