It's almost as if subverting everything in what should have been the culminating episode was actually a bad idea in a hyped up television series or something. I'm curious what the viewership numbers will be now...
Also, if D&D are lurking here, I hope all the "YAAAAS QUEEN SLAY" memes, Arya popularity, shock and awe attention, and your zombie polar bear fetishes were worth it. I really hope sacrificing the series' integrity for "cool points" since Season 5 was all worth it. I hope getting the Night King Snoke'd was worth it. I hope writing the equivalent of the Mass Effect 3 ending for Game of Thrones was worth it. Every last bit of it. May God have mercy on your souls.
