>Already said they're going to make Bond even more of a cuck than he's been since Craig took over
Yes, although as far as I'm concerned Bond has been dead since the 90s

Of course. This is just another check for Craig who hates these movies.

Yeah absolutely. Even the Bond themes have been shit as of late.

Skyfall was OK, I didn't like it first time round but liked it more on rewatch. It definitely didn't hit the mark exactly though. Spectre is the first Bond film I straight up didn't like at all, and the only one I've not rewatched (other than The Man With The Golden Gun, not out of hate, it just hasn't happened).

Golden Gun is my absolute favorite

>Spectre is the first Bond film I straight up didn't like at all,

There have been a lot of bad ones but Spectre is the only one that made me consider giving up the series from that point onward. Utter trash.

People don't want to see Bond movies anymore. They want to see movies with gritty action like Bourne. Austin Powers caused the silliness in classic Bond movies to be toned down for the reboot. The last two movies were half-meta observations on how outdated the character is. They keep going on about making James Bond black, or a woman, which removes the entire point.

Craig hates these movies now, directors don't get to do what they want. They already ruined Blofeld. It would be kindest to bury the franchise but Aston Martin won't allow it.

Spectre was weird, its like it wasn't even a movie at all, more of an atmospheric piece. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested in seeing the new one. Craigs Bond isn't nearly as bad as Yea Forums makes him out to be (if anything he's more like the source material than most other bonds who put their personal 'flair' on ua purposefully one dimensional character). Casino Royale was hands down his best, followed by Skyfall. The only one that was really unwatchable was Quantum of Solace.

I agree with both of you. Haven’t rewatched since I saw it and I greatly dislike it. Even some of the more corny and sillier Bind films I can think of something I remotely like, but I straight up don’t like Spectre.

Ever since Casino Royale, they've either forgotten how to make Bond movies fun, or just don't care anymore. They've not figured out how to transition from the gritty reboot back into fun spy/action movies.

Why even bother making Bond films when they won't fuck half as hard as MI: Fallout did?

more like Bond 55 he's OLD

>giving up the series
what is this consumerist shite head speak. the films depend on the screen writer and director more than anything and it changes all the fucking time.

This. The Architect was the last real Bond and we know that for fact. Once we hit the 2000s it was over. Something problematic from a bygone era, something that people could relate to as being quintessentially British. And now you know why it had to be (((neutered))).

Moore and Dalton are tied for best Bond

Pretty much every Bond movie feels like it was written by a 14 year old boy.

Moore is disgusting

This. After Spectre, there's zero chance I'll see Bond 25 opening weekend. I need to hear what people are saying before I give this franchise another chance at the theater. I want it to be good (or even good enough), but once bitten twice shy.

>Money = good

The picture is perfect for you and your utter brainlet post.

>People don't want to see Bond movies anymore...

...and other assorted things user pulls from his ass.

Solid list but Tomorrow Never Dies should be Mediocre, and Diamonds Are Forever is just shit. Diamonds is arguably more unbearable and less fun than Die Another Day, for me.

Don't agree with skyfall, but I value that list for putting TWINE in the good section. Probably the best Brosnan after Goldeneye. The christmas jones-aspect is just a small stain in an otherwise classy story.

Not as shit as the one after that where he’ll be A. a nigger or B. a woman.

Skyfall and CR are great and worthy of being in the Bond pantheon, QoS was just okay, Spectre was garbage

>Only 800mill on a 300mill budget

>Skyfall and CR are great
Nah

People like to pretend Brosnan only had one good Bond film while TWINE is pure kino

ohmss is absolutely mediocre and overrated.
I hate you faggots for always sucking its dick.

You're so cool.

>Muh contrarianism
Yes, whenever someone has a less popular opinion than you, it means they are just tryhards. But when your opinion is the less popular one, it means they are plebs. Congratulations on being the center of the universe

I was watching a tv in a lobby and was thinking, "What tv show is this and how can it afford Daniel Craig and Tom Cruise?" It turns out I was watching the intro to Spectre, and I didn't even realize it.

this, but unironically

Same. Im not that excited about Bond 25, especially if it’s got *some* ties to Spectre. The lows of Craig’s Run as Bond definitely outweigh the highs. Consistently disappointed.

based.

Exactly how I have it too.

A man of taste, I see.

Nah, miss me with the MI goofyness. The MI movies are entertaining but have nothing to do with a spy thriller. If you watch MI 1 and MI 5 without knowing that they belong to the same series, you couldn't tell. I'd be happy if they dont take the smugness/goofyness road, tone down the pseudo intelligent psycho pieces and produce a classical spy thriller, maybe on 'three days of the condor' level. The Pierce Brosnan ones were ok in that respect, fe goldeneye.

fell for her hard when I saw 2049 shes just so damn perfect

Oh shit, forgot about the wifey. Yeah, I'll see it right after opening weekend.

Why didn't he just quit after Spectre? He has enough money.

What do you boys think of Rami as the villain?

Attached: 683F6A25-7AB9-4A25-BEA3-54A2E0D491BA.jpg (2000x2400, 544K)

Maybe villain henchmen but definitely too young and boyish to be taken seriously as a threat.

he will get into a hack battle with Q

He’s confirmed as the villain, to be clear. Obviously not a physical threat to Bond, but few are

Depends on what kind of character they give him. I thought Christoph Waltz would pull off a good villain but they gave him a bland as fuck sorry excuse for Blofeld and he had nothing to work with

>she will never be your gf
that's a big oof from me

>some brainlets here legit think Spectre is worse than Moonraker or Die Another Day

>They're worse because they're sillier

Maybe.

>i want to watch le bond shooting aliens with his magic pew pew gun and cracking silly jokes xD

Go watch any stupid spy spoof then
Spectre is far from being even a decent movie but still stands above them for actually respecting the intention of the books.

I'll be honest I really enjoy the gritty James Bond. I think the Daniel Craig films have had beautiful cinematography. Spectre and Skyfall were visually amazing. The scene in Skyfall in the skyscraper with the glass walls was really beautiful.

However I have disliked the themes and aspects of the writing. But I would take these films over the rest of them after Connery. If we could just forget about Quantum of Solace that would be great. I can't even remember the name of the villain all I remember is that he wanted to buy up all the water in fucking Bolivia or whatever.

Attached: 1556397744747.webm (1280x536, 1.83M)

The only problems that i have with the new Bond movies is how they have 0 thought into the villains.

I know it is hard to create a realistic evil villain, but i can't cyber terrorism every fucking time.

What's the warmest color again?

>how they have 0 thought into the villains
Le Chiffre was okay and Bardem is a good pick for a bond villain even if he wasn't that great of a character

If you think any of them are worse than le "lets paint everything gold" man or "my character defining trait is that i have three nipples" man i dont know what to tell you.

Attached: 1556399761934.webm (1280x536, 1.19M)

Nah i think they are good obviously, but i am just saying that cyber terrorism is real, but so is Saudi Arabia Sheik kidnapping his own daughter, but we will never have a movie about that.

So it gets kinda pointless doing a realism when the villains are "i will hack the CIA" villains.

Well it is a James Bond movie.

Skyfall felt like a classic bond theme. Your Spectre rating is on point.

Based. And fuck Moore that old sack of shit.

spectre is better than skyfall

I

Don't bully the dead.

> realistic evil villain
Kino of Solace’s villain is literally ripped right from the headlines and doesn’t even have any meme deformities / quirks
en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cochabamba_Water_War
Grow up, tastelets

Based Dalton.

Attached: Sir Timothy Dalton.jpg (1768x2658, 1.05M)

Yes but surely the way this would be prevented would be with some form of external government intervention on the grounds of human rights violation as opposed to one British spy leaving the villain out in the middle of the desert?

Le Chiffre was a fantastic villain because he was in the kind of situation that could call for a James Bond figure.

>Film: 5/10
make it 2/10 and I concur

>why yes, i do think spectre’s original radiohead theme is a 10/10 kino, what gave it away?

Attached: 8696A8AF-3B1E-421E-869E-B89A554A98C8.jpg (912x1024, 64K)

>Cary fukunaga
Gonna b kino

too bad he's gay girls were wasted on him

Sure but that would imply the world cares about Third world imperialism, it is kinda pointless to write a "realistic" movie to people that couldn't care less about Bolivia.

All the songs are okay outside of Spectre which was ass
Best Bond Girls I would say is Quantom

Where are they all looking, the camera is in front of you, you assholes

Dalton still looks better than Craig.

At least it's not a nigger

yup

If they're going to fuck with the character and series as much as I think they will from now on, they may as well end it at Bond 25.

SJW Bond or whatever the fuck, is not a good idea.

Goldeneye was good
Casino Royale was good

Basically, Martin Campbell should direct them all

nothing against craig as an actor, but how did his potato head get in with most distinguished looking gentleman?

>man is 25
>looks 45
JAMES WALL

GE was good is because of the script and characters. His directing style is mediocre at best, why everyone praises him like he's the messiah of 007 baffles me.

And if you want an edgy spy thriller watch a Bourne movie, faggot
