Totally agree.
The plot of the second one is bad because the entire conflict makes 0 sense. Both Ghost and the heroes want the exact same thing, and if they just talked normally for more than a few minutes they could work together and solve their problems.
Not to mention the only thing at stake in the whole movie was the life of Pym's wife or the life of Ghost, yet they all get dusted at the end anyway making the whole thing nearly irrelevant in its own movie.

It was just weird. Like a collection of neat ideas that had no cohesion. I wanted to like it more than I did, but it just wasn't very good as a movie. It had good scenes though.
