I dunno, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park both happened in the 90s too.
>riget

are you the guy who voted for Twin Peaks as top10?
every french title can be safely dropped from that list because the french haven't made an interesting film that wasn't a slasher since the 60's
>what is Leon
dazed and confused is the best american film of the 90's
what is Holy Motors
otherwise, I agree with you actually
>what is Holy Motors
an incredibly shitty and even more overrated movie.
I love how this list is always filled with random foreign movie titles to seem “auteur” and “exquisite”
you mean leon aka the french pretending they can do american-style action films?
whether people like it or not it it the quintessential 10/10 flick and there aren't many 100% flawless movies
By what metric?
I mean Leon still a french movie so you're wrong faggot yes
you've only been here for a year tops faggot
No, Fargo is
this is only funny when you use a foreign alphabet to name an american pop corn flick
French director=/=french movie. It was shot in America and has a primarily american cast and crew.
It's like saying Birdman or The Revenant are Mexican movies. They're just not.
but everything about it reeks of frenchness regardless of shooting location. no american could ever have made a movie like leon
fargo isn't even the best coen brothers film of the 90's
The director is the soul of the movie, not the cast
The Last Samurai isn't a japanese movie despite being in Japan and having Ken Watanabe. Plus as said Leon smells like french movies in every minute
Facts don't care about your feelings
by every metric you zoomer cuck
La Femme Nikita
Whatever you say, faggot. Keep calling everything you hate Reddit like the dumb fuck you are.
boiling redditor
you are a retard
>The director is the soul of the movie, not the cast
christ the state of this cuck
he didn't call him reddit and you're a phoneposting tourist so fuck outta here faggot go tie the noose
I'm not trying to be funny. This is my list.

It's not even the best film of 1994. Three Colours: Red was better and it should have won Palme d'Or.

I'm not a big Tarantino fan. But this is his actual only masterpiece.
That scene is perfect for many reasons:
>establishes the characteristics of vince and jules
>clearly demonstrates they are calm doing this work and shoot the shit like any other job
>but shows they are league with a powerful boss
>gives the context for the date and the reason for Vincent's apprehension
>Is a comedic juxtaposition against the subsequent intense scene
If you can't appreciate Pulp fiction as a masterwork of cinema, you are braindead. End of.
this is the most tumblresque write-up I've ever seen o Yea Forums, bravo ya fucking pussy
That means nothing to me. Use your brain in a critical fashion once and stop labelling things by groupthink and feel.
Probably not but it's still a good one. People here will say they hate it because Reddit circlejerks QT but that doesn't change the fact that it's a fine movie.
stop embarrassing yaself ya soiboi, maybe if you spent more time focusing on a career rather than studying derrida and sucking cock you wouldn't be a fucking NEET trying to impress people who hate you on Yea Forums
That's too much projection for me there. See ya.
Sure smells like reddit here.
I was asking because some people are weird and count 1990 as the 80's
He’s right though. Pulp Fiction is mediocre
Here's some honourable mentions that didn't quite make it in my top 50, but are still very much worth checking out.
>طعم گيلاس
>초록 물고기
>π
>Vale Abraão
>Being John Malkovich
>Kauas pilvet karkaavat
>Forrest Gump
>The Sweet Hereafter
>Secrets & Lies
>It's not even the best film of 1994
*ahem*
I didn't even like Pulp Fiction it seems silly how over the top everything is, like the briefcase combination 666
>Pulp Fiction is mediocre
Why do you say that?
That's so fucking weird. I JUST finished watching this.
Did White really shoot Orange at the very end?
That’s not Hudsucker Proxy
Tim Roth kind of takes me out of Reservoir Dogs I didn't think he was good in that
Fag
Is The Insider good I still haven't seen that
The 90's is when Tim Sizemore was on top of the world
him and Tim Hanks
if you're a middle schooler
that's not die hard 3
>get rid of everything that isn't in english
>start from 10
>end at 13
There you go. Also 박하사탕 is ass bruh all Korean movies are fucking asscakes.
Holy fuck his brain broke
. Face/Off
Slipped this in at the end thinking no one would notice. It's a good film but come on. Voided your whole list with this act of plebbery. It's not even the best action film starring Nicholas Cage that came out in 1997
You are the plebiest pleb to ever pleb this plebbit board
pleb
what are you the king of reddit
the whole list is bait, ya dink

It's the 2nd most relevant film and entertaining film of all time.
Fight Club is filled with fantastic performances
Great and memorable music
Interesting characters
Hilarious dark comedy
Brilliant dialogue and slick cinematography.
Just let that sink in seething contrarian fags
>neither fight club nor transporting nor se7en or on your list

GARCON
I honestly think the mtv editing hurts it and didn't really add anything.
>mtv editing
what?
Rapid cuts and jumping around too much. It's feels disjointed and ends at the diner either way but it completely removes any nuance or subtext it might've had.
don't get baited
are there several cuts? the 2.h34 version I have it reasonably edited
I mean there are multiple threads going on in the movie but no frantic editing like in Edgar Wright shit
How could he stand like this? Was he MJ?
post your 80s and 70s list please
Yeah it's pretty reined in and it's fucking Tarantula so there's probably not a lot of subtext that would've made it in anyway but a lot of stuff like the Butch scenes or Vega dying have close to no impact and might've helped a lot if it was linear.
