The 90's was a bad time for TV shows and pop videos in general, nearly everything was recorded on tape and would never be higher res than SD.

We'll have to make do with everything from late 80's until early 2000's being soft and blurry

Kinda like how MARRIED... WITH CHILDREN was shot on film but edited on video so even tho HD exists, we'll never get it because every single episode would have to be edited back to identical form.

It's so rough.
