what made it so good?
What made it so good?
Quips
Tunes
Planet Hulk
Loki shenanigans
[spoilers]fun[/spoilers]
Mommy Hela
New Zealand
It wasn't, really
Thor was actually fun for once
>dude pretty colors and synth music LMAO
space gladiators are always fun
How can you actually remember anything from this movie? I know Thor and Hulk were in it, but that's it
The brown new zealand man is good with humor and visuals even if they're CGI
It was patrician, that's why.
haha imagine her moving her hands like that around her crotch and growing a giant cock haha WOAH wouldn't that be crazy
That's not patricians taste, that's a contrarians contrarian contrarian taste
the fight soundtrack, that i can't fucking find in high quality anywhere
i was going to save this, then i saw jack and jill
meh, it was ok
it was the first time where hemsworth was let loose as a big comedy schtick
hulk was kinda charming too
goldblum was interesting but insultingly underused
the rest was forgettable and generic
I remember “Devil’s Anus” being a major plot point and the most offhand endtimes depiction imaginable
6/10
This. Characters and the world were made more believable solely because of the humor. This made every other marvel movie that year look like total shit.
It would be really good with no Valkyrie. Also wish Thor and Hulks fight went on longer after he awakens his lightning, still probably the best fight in the MCU though
Sorry I meant that in response to this:
They stopped trying to make a Thor movie and made a Chris Hemsworth movie.
HELA HELA HELA HEE HEE HEE
>“Devil’s Anus”
>the most offhand endtimes depiction imaginable
Who wrote that shit, Seth Rogen?
I honestly think its the best movie in the MCU. I mean competition aint stiff besides maybe Guardians or Iron Man 1.
But i don't know it was still capeshit and a Thor sequel but between the improv, space adventure stuff, and the over the top aesthetic all worked great together to me. Its not the smartest movie but its certainly was a fun action flick
Korg
What a bunch of shitty movies wow.
there hasn't been a single cute little asgardian girl in this whole movie series, i am dissapointed
That's how a Redditor reacts to the list.
Shit taste , Iron Man 3 was kino
It wasn't good but mommy made it worthwhile
Was better than 2. Still, not good.
Why didn’t Marvel make World War Hulk?
>this image
Kill yourself already
Universal don't let them
Taika is good with humor
OMG THIS so much this
I actually didn't like it if we are being honest. The action scenes were nice, I enjoyed Loki, but the entire thing felt more like a parody than an actual MCU entry. Almost everything had to be a joke, and even the serious moments had to be followed up by a joke, or they risked there being some gravitas. Too little attention on the things that mattered. Thor, a hero, joking about smell of the poor fuck being MELTED next to him instead of trying to save him, when he briefly escaped the next moment. The warriors three dying and Thor never so much as bowing his head. Sif missing and no one so much as mentioning it. It was just shitty.
The soundtrack sold it.
This movie shows everything wrong with MCU movies very well
>more believable solely because of the humor.
Do you live in a fucking comedy hall or pantomime or something?
have aids
Also, this entire sequence with Odin and then Hella, felt completely off visually. You can tell in hindsight they are CGI'd onto the scene in some places. They really should have kept this scene in the city. It just totally ruined it.
This movie was good because:
NZ humour is objectively better than american humour
Thor's look is the best yet
Planet hulk
Actual colours
Wrecking his hammer and making him lose an eye was genius, but immediately ruined in infinity war
Valkyrie being a strong female character without all the pitfalls of captain marvel
Thor/Banner dynamic
Loki's semi-redemption
Garbage ass movie
They got sued by Konami because the missing eye that's why they fixed it quick .
What a crazy idea! Imagine her holding you down and raping you with it. I'm laughing just thinking about it haha!
just googled and couldn't find anything in 30 seconds, sauce/story?
this
For me, it was the Reddit humor I've missed since GOTG
Basedakiki and nz quirk
Mcu needed more oddball movies hopefully phase 4 leans into this harder Tbqh I'm sick of the main story since it's basically fucked since infinity war and will get stuck in Dr who tier retcon
Having only seen it exactly one time back when it was on theatres:
> Thor fights that guy in the lava place
>Finds Loki impersonating Odin
>
>Hela comes and wrecks Asgard
>Forget how but Thor and Loki get stranded on Sakaar (it was Bifrost shenanigans right?)
>Thor gets captured by Valkyrie
>Turns him into Grandmaster
>Grandmaster makes him fight for his freedom in gladiator battles
>Meet funny kiwi rock man (Korg)
>Fight Hulk
>Admittedly everything else beyond this is a blur
>Fight Hela on Asgard
>Loki steals the Tessaract from their vault of artifacts
>Unleash the guy from the beginning to fight Hela and bring on Ragnarok
>Asgardians flee via space ships
If you're anywhere below the age of 30, work on your memory retention skills
There's almost not a dull moment in it except when hela and scourge are dicking around on asgard trying to find the sword.
Just a joke because her looks like Snake in MGS5.
the soudndtrack
It was a fun little blockbuster movie with decent action scenes, good pacing, just enough humour and acceptable writing.
It was honest and knew its limits, it made it enjoyable.
Thats norway stupid
>source : Anons ass
Lose weight
the worst movie of the MCU with Iron man 2
It copied guardians
this. Led Zepp could single handedly turn into kino any capeshit garbage you throw at it.
Even Suicide Squad
What the fuck is wrong with you? It was fucking great. Tony's mental crisis was very relatable and the action at the end with all the suits was fantastic
>epic dadrock inserts into movies
Yikes
70s sci-fi aesthetics, good cgi and peak humor. In fact MCU humor peaked in that movie
>what made it so good?
More inspiration taken from Jack Kirby than Stan Lee.
a goofy maiori director basically took the piss right out of everyting that happened to thor and made a soft reboot that re-imagines thor as the goofy comic relief avenger that more readily fits in the universe populated by the guardians of the galaxy.
delet
Hate that film. If it weren't for the soundtrack and Cate Blanchett looking hela fuckin tasty.
Good use of characters:
-Took Thor less seriously
-Gave some resolution to the relationship with Odin and Loki
-Gave the Hulk speaking lines
Also setting the thing in space worked well, as trialed by Guardians of the Galaxy.
Why the Blacked? I fucking hate Black people.
