This was the only one I really enjoyed.

First one has some cool moments but it’s sorta lame for not carrying the characters of the game into the cinema and while the hive is cool it sucks you don’t get the haunted mansion aspect.

2 feels like absurdism with more video game fan service. It embraces the cheese.

3 went to over the top in my opinion with the world being post apocalypse.

It's not convincing at all. Her grip is fucking awful, her hands are half way down the pistol grip, in reality her pistol might flop out of her hand at worst, or she'll limp wrist the gun at best and cause a malfunction. She's also not even using the sights, it's clear that the gun isn't at eye level. Unless she's Anne oakley she's not gonna be able to hit anything like that. And finally, she combines both those terrible things with shooting one handed at the end of that clip, ensuring that she'd be able to control the gun even less, and shoots at some niggers handcuffs to free him. Not only is that extremely unlikely, bordering impossible with traditional handgun rounds, it's extremely dangerous, as lead splatter/ricochet is a very real and dangerous possibility. In this vid, this guy needed a shot gun shell to break a set of handcuffs. Even then he fucked up the first shot. This scene was some dog shit.

Reminder that they literally dropped that aspect in later films for some reason. There's shots in 3 of the entire world, and it's clearly a world-wide ecological disaster with a desert planet. Later films take place in forests.

They also rushed to world-wide apocalypse way too fast. That should have been built up over several films instead of just happening off screen.

It's probably just another case of they thought it would end after the third movie, but then a fourth got greenlit. This is the source of many plot holes in film series and TV shows
