Arya sansa LF
Sand Snakes, probably.
Dorne, everything happening in Dorne, as shown in the last seasons
oh wait
Probably when the pseudo avengers go to capture a wight in season 7
Is there any part that they didn't copy from the books that isn't pure unviewable garbage? The source material is good but the power of hollywood jews is enough to ruin anything
I don't think the chaos is a ladder exchange between Varys and Littlefinger was in the books.
Also Robb's wife didn't die in the books. I think her death in the show was an actual good change
also, in the books Varys didn't capture the sorcerer who castrated him
just look at the relevant scene from the show: youtube.com
That's an actually good, impactful change
>I don't think the chaos is a ladder exchange between Varys and Littlefinger was in the books.
No. It's fucking stupid "le twirling moustache villain" dialogue.
>Also Robb's wife didn't die in the books. I think her death in the show was an actual good change
Irrelevant, pretty much. But I don't like it. It serves no purpose besides shock value.
>That's an actually good, impactful change
No. It's unrealistic and it is stupid. Also, undermines Varys' character.
Did they really "stray from the book"? Or did they go past the book already so they had nothing to draw from?
They had like 2 books+ worth of content and condensed it all into season 5 they definitely jumped the gun
>I don't think the chaos is a ladder exchange between Varys and Littlefinger was in the books.
Can't recall right now if it was part of the books, but if it wasnt then thats a good addition
>Also Robb's wife didn't die in the books. I think her death in the show was an actual good change
We still have to see what george wants to do with her, but we will never know because it is very obvious he has completely given up on them
That's a good one
Just hard to remember them when i think of d&d and the first things to come to my mind are the butchering of the dorne faction and stannis entire character
They started trying to do the same story with less characters because of budget/simplicity and when they hot books 4/5 (which happen simultaneously and have a dozen different POV each) they suddenly couldnt adapt the story anymore so they made up their own thing
The little dragons getting kidnapped by some wizard in a magic tower.
Fuck it, everything after Drogo's death with Dany wandering Essos was shit.
seaosn 1-3 they added to the stuff in the book i.e not using catapults for the wildfire in blackwater bay & the scythe on the wall when the wildlings attack
season 4 onwards they did more and more stuff thats changed from the books and with Jons death they've gone pasted the books
>We still have to see what george wants to do with her, but we will never know because it is very obvious he has completely given up on them
Last time we heard from Jeyne she was arrested and taken to Casterly Rock, where she is probably forced to drink Moon Tea in order to kill Robb's child.
Interesting thing is that George said he, she'll appear in the prologue of The Winds of Winter.
tbf, Dany post-Drogo is pretty boring even in the books
however, though i don't remember how it happened in the books, tv-Dany being a whiny baby outside the gates of Qarth and threatening to burn them with the dragons she refuses to show them and the sleazy white man and the charming black dude who naturally believes everything Dany says is pretty hilarious
Danny's story in the books is pretty boring, but it has the potential to be p.cool, not that I think George Martin will go this route because his fat ass wants his dragons to fight the big bad ice zombies, but Danny never leaving Essos would be great. She literally is trying to tackle a near unsolvable issue in the books and everyone around her from Westeros is telling her it isn't worth it and that she should just fuck off, but she refuses, she doesn't want to leave Slaver's Bay worse than when she found it.
I really hope Danny never leaves Essos because she decides that reforming a slave society is more important than a fucking chair.
>I really hope Danny never leaves Essos because she decides that reforming a slave society is more important than a fucking chair.
that would be cool, and would make her seem like less of a whiny cunt
Idea crayons
my only real hope for this is a scene in the book where Danny marvels at the fact that freed slaves are becoming Slaves once more because as freemen they have no home, no way to secure food, and no way to support their families. She has no idea how to fix this problem but she wants to do everything in her power to keep them free without completely destroying Mereen like she did when she freed Astapor and just left.
In reality though GRRM has said it himself, he has no idea how to get danny to westeros because he wrote something complicated and doesn't know the answer to it himself. He's going to have Danny abandon the city, there's no way he keeps her in Essos another book.
capturing the wight is dumbest shit i ever seen. not on tv/movies, ever
Tywin and Arya
Tyrion not being a great sword fighter in the show
