Am I the only one who felt the ending was rushed? That nigga iron man snapped then died like 2 seconds later with no build up or anything. Like it doesn’t even feel impactful. Then the movie ends 5 minutes later after a shitty funeral and cap becoming old as fuck. Feels like it happened way too fast.
Endgame ending
final fight was supposed to be longer but the movie was already 3 hours long
maybe in an extended cut?
Yeah, I feel ya. That part should have been a little longer. I feel like 30 minutes of stuff was cut for theatrical release just to not make it even longer than 3 hours
HOW THE FUCK DID HE GET THE STONES OFF OF THANOS? DID DR STRANGE DO SOME MAGIC? WHY COULDNT THEY DO THAT IN INFINITY WAR?
4hr Extended edition would be kino
Tony's nanotech gauntlet. Merged and shifts with his suit he was wearing.
The gauntlet was made from Stark's nanotech. Stark's suit is made from Stark's nanotech. In the last movie we saw Stark's suit regenerate itself and become blades and shields and fin funnels, it's not hard to believe that with a sleight of hand he swapped the stones while they were struggling.
my biggest issue is that of they unsnapped everyone else why couldn't someone later unsnap thanos himself? should have cut off his head again instead
Why didn't they just destroy the time stone?
This asshole spends the entirety of IW refusing to blow up the time stone due to "His Oath" or whatever, then accepts a future out of 14 million, where the time stone gets destroyed anyway.
Stop asking questions
Give your money to the mouse
@114050111 (you)
Because Thanos would have destroyed Earth if he couldn't get the stones then would have sought other ways to kill half the universe, probably with the heart of the universe.
>with no build up
what a fucking retard you are. You had 9 movies of build up. They even stated in age of ultron when iron man says "that is the endgame and it must be me"
fucking gaylords who are incappable of paying attention to a fucking movie. kys
>destroy time stone
>destroy mind stone
>Thanos gets pissed off when he gets to earth
>Thor puts an axe in his chest
Not seeing a problem here.
Imagine defending this trash ending because of one reference in an old ass movie. You are mentally handicapped.
>"that is the endgame and it must be me"
He never said that.
He made a remark about the portal above New York being the 'Endgame' but that never factored into Avengers Endgame in the slightest and the final battle occured somewhere completely different from Tony's vision.
The whole film suffered from a few things.
>Time travel is a lazy solution and just means you have written yourself in to a position where you can't sensibly resolve your narrative threads
>Squeezing in progressive politics such as a 2 minute scene of Captain America giving dating advice to a gay.
>Also forced strong whaman ensemble shot
>Also Thor handing over power to a black woman
>Also Captain America handing over the mantle to an unpowered black guy
>The film was very clumsily edited to try and work Captain Marvel in to the story
So yeah. Short sighted writing and narrative decisions based on contemporary pop politics.
I hope this is the beginning of the end of capeshit.
This most likely wasn’t improvised but part of the plan after what happened in IW.
The "strong women" stuff is annoying because they've shown they can write actually good female characters (Nebula, Gamora, Scarlet Witch). The egregious stuff like the contrived shot of every woman on the battlefield and Thor giving Asgard to someone he's only known for 5 years (barely anything given how old he is) comes off worse because its obviously been forced in the film.
Whole movie was utter shit that + got 8ep3 was genuinely the low point of 2019 entertainment wise
>Scarlet Witch
>Good
Maybe if you mean written like a real woman
>starts out as a terrorist, puts shit in Tony's head which results in him building Ultron
>ends up joining the heroes
>because of her status Tony gives her everything she needs to live
>rebels for some reason
Yes, she's a realistic depiction of a woman.
>They even stated in age of ultron when iron man says...
Stop. Cheap callbacks don't necessarily reflect previous build up (or the lack of); it's not even good storytelling per se. If anything it just means that someone, somewhere, has to add more entries to a Wiki.
Director’s cut will also cut out all the SJW girl power portion of the final fight that Disney forced he Russo brothers to add in.
It’s not safe to destroy any of the stones, the blast would obliterate anything within its parameter. This is something IW goofed on. In AOU cap warned the team specifically that the stone is powerful and any disturbance could level an entire city (Seoul). But when Wanda destroyed the mindstone, everyone around Vision were fine.
Iron Man dying was in-character and was foreshadowed by Tony being worried about coming back to his wife and daughter. If anything he had a huge death flag coming into this movie.
What I wish was that they had devoted some more time to the fallout, like showing the universe adapting to everyone being restored, and the impact of the events on the individual characters. Movie was already long but they could always have taken out from that bloated middle fanservice fest.
>Time travel is a lazy solution and just means you have written yourself in to a position where you can't sensibly resolve your narrative threads
Their approach to time travel was fine honestly, it is only really ruined by the very last scene with Cap being there when he shouldn't.
Meh, time travel with alternate timelines rarely work, nothing beats a good old stable loop.
>Unironically using spoiler tags because the faggot jannies don't want people spoiling fucking capeshit
Faggot. I am going to unspoil your post just because.
>Am I the only one who felt the ending was rushed? That nigga iron man snapped then died like 2 seconds later with no build up or anything. Like it doesn’t even feel impactful. Fuck mods. Fuck jannies. Spoiling shit is Yea Forums tradition.
the gantlet basically cook tony from the inside, he had no time for cliche last words
Based
It was actually nice that they had enough restraint to stop him from quipping into death.
