Santa Sangre was kino, but Holy Mountain was just pretentious bullshit that lost all the marbles in final third.

Well, in the same way that every movie is a series of images meant to convey a feeling.

I disagree, and would argue that Fritz the Cat does a better job of using it's imagery to involve the viewer in the setting whereas THM uses it to alienate the viewer from the setting and string together a lot of non-sequitors make an underwhelming and entry-level-art-school point.

Fritz feels more honest.
