also I'm pissed off we probably won't get an ending to Prometheus and covenant, I really liked the David story arc

He is a great director, I'm not sure about writer though, I loved both those movies, is it confirmed that's there's not going to be a follow up movie?
I'm going to watch it again.

Prometheus is better than Covenant IMO. Best thing about Covenant is the ending 'twist'.

I'm sort of pissed off that Scott gave in to fan service bringing the Aliens back and didn't make the movie he wanted, these two movies rested on Fassbender, I'd love to see an ending to his arc, maybe it's just the cinematography that saves it, but I love both movies, Ridley is great.

I don't think anyone disagrees with that it's his scripts that blow donkey balls.

I don't really blame Ridley for the faults of these movies. I think Prometheus and Covenant had some interesting ideas that were very poorly put together by some hack screenwriters. Give the general plot points to someone else and they could've been excellent movies.

you got some cum on your screen

Also my favourite from the Covenant OST:

why the fuck did he not include this in the Movie.

I always felt the connection between Prometheus and T.E. Lawrence was tenuous at best. Better to just leave it as David's weird obsession imo.

Kino.

he does look like Peter O'Toole the guy who played Lawrence of Arabia in this shot, Great cinematography in that Movie too broad wide shots maybe it's an nod.

What monitor is that, user? Is it good for watching movies?

Asus not sure of the model number, or even if you can get it anymore, I have it attached to a docking station, with sound going to 7.1, it's decent 1980x1080 blacks and colour are good

>Asus
Is it IPS or VA?
I've retured an ASUS VA panel just a few days ago because of the poor color accuracy.

I really don't get why Fox didn't let Ridley finish his shit. A hundred million down the drain wouldn't have meant shit when you're getting bought out by Disney anyway.

He's a great director when it comes to visuals, but most of his movies are shit script-wise. I'm not sure if he's even involving himself much in the writing process but the quality of his movies suffers a lot when the story and characters are not that good.

So I was thinking, since the voyages in 1492 are not the "true" accounts but Columbus retelling the events to his son, does that render everything we learn about Moxica and what happened between him and Columbus unreliable?

I dunno, man. My biggest disappointment in that movie is the way Columbus was showing his son an orange or some shit and telling him how only he knows the world is round and not flat.

If he can't pick a good script, the failure is his as well. Case closed.

He was just full of himself. Wasn't his plan initially rejected not because it was thought that the earth wasn't round, but because the round trip was considered suicide?

I haven't seen that movie is probably 6-7 years.

aesthetics have always been his strongest point. all the alien movies he directed are visually gorgeous.

i dont think too highly of old ridley but still i agree
