what did you expect after that disastrous trailer?
I knew it wasn’t going to be as good as I wanted it to be but I really expected more from it. I thought maybe someone fucked up on the trailer, and that surely they wouldn’t have made a feature length Bundy movie knowing it would be schlock.
But fucking hell, it was worse than a made for TV movie, they obviously made it geared towards an audience of Netflix girls frothing at the gash over Bundy, it was so bad.
>Been out for 24 hours

Nearly made me laugh, who writes this shit
"Ted Bundy is a vile, vile human being. There is no part of this at all ... I can’t express how much I loathe the man that this movie is about," he said. "The fact is that this movie really happened. The fact is that the whole world, literally, all the media, everybody, was capable of believing that this guy was innocent. Talk about white privilege, talk about white ... whatever. Every major topic in this movie is bent on showing you how evil this person is."
Name literally one thing bundy did wrong
12 year old girl was a bit far
I didn't watch the trailer but I wish I did because its the worst Netflix movie I've ever seen and I've almost seen them all.
they skipped all the killing and rushed through every other state so the movie would only be about his trial in Dade county, Florida. They showed the Colorado escapes and him fucking his bitch and getting her knocked up, but that was about it.
Pure GARBAGE
If they made the movie entirely about Bundy, from his point of view, making it all about a man you thought that everything was about him, then I think Effron could have pulled it off, but this shitshow with his girlfriend, and all her terrible acting and storyline was just awful. I can’t believe this got funding at all, the bit where he got sentenced, and the final ‘climax’ where the girl confronts him in prison were just hysterical.
Why did we not see Zack fuck decapitated skulls in the woods?
The 2002 version is better in every way
yeah a bit on the older side but still in her prime
Is there a single movie about a real-life serial killer that's good other than Zodiac?
Snowtown and Extremely wicked is good too. I guess every user bloodthirsty. Should have seen it coming to be fair
I really liked Summer of Sam even though its a Spike Lee movie
You don't understand the plot of the movie, it isn't about the crimes of Ted Bundy but the relation he had with his two wives and how they managed to live during the trial, the same author already made some mini serie about the crimes of Bundy.
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer is good.
Yeah, and they fucked it up, it was like watching planks of wood
Drive through two stop signs
The absolute madman
Dropped out of law school
Killed children
Became a drug addict
You can pick any of these
Thought some of the murder and necrophilia were excessive.
What was he addicted to?
Weed, coke and heroin near the end
Killing women that looked like his ex
What a cool cat
It's not great. It's also the first time I've ever experienced sympathy for Zac Efron, who's obviously throwing everything he's got at it because he wants so very badly to be regarded as a Serious Actor.
Yeah being a a prison drug addicts and getting your wife to bring your heroin through her asshole yeah real cool
I felt the same way there are two scenes where he actually acts like Ted Bundy and puts on a performance. Other than that I blame the shity script
He could have pulled it off if he had been the centre of the movie, the atrocious acting from the girlfriend really fucked him over though, all her shitty acting as a genuine person reflected badly on his genuine acting as a shitty person, and whatever retards got hired to edit and direct it didn’t help either.
If we got a movie about Zac lurking in the dark, prowling streets, hiding in the mountains, picking up victims with his sociopathic charms, then I think he could have done a great job.
>he’s never smoked ass smack
What a loser
Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes were pretty good.
I really enjoyed Ann Rule's The Stranger Beside Me. Kickstarted her true crime career.
just listen to the raw tapes, that's the real kino
youtube.com
Drink all muddy
Flag all bloody
I'm killing these hoes like the nigga Ted Bundy
Yeah it was a complete waste of potential, this could have been kino
how is zodiac good? its pathetic
what did you expect from Joe Berlinger? He's great at making documentaries but he can't make fiction. He directed fucking Blair Witch 2 lmao.
It's not. fake intellectuals on this forum actually pretend that it's a good movie just to feel special
It's good. Fake contrarians on this forum actually pretend that it's not a good movie just to feel special.
kek
go back to r*ddit, zoomer boy
I didn't know Spike Lee made any good movies besides Inside Man
you were a bit out of line yaself...little bit out of line
Marathoning it now. Lily is qt
Zack Efron is quickly becoming this generations Leonardo Dicaprio.
He's a seriously good actor.
they competely took out any potential impact they could’ve had by not showing at least brief parts of his crimes happening. they also didn’t show bundy hiding in the woods after his first escape which would’ve been kino
nobody thought he was innocent. the only sympathy he got was from thirsty roasties who got horny over the idea
We saw one of his kill at the end, with the axe
snowtown is the most disturbing movie i have ever seen. that long drive at the end
reminder they never not even once mention or imply necrophilia in the new movie
Which explains why this movie was so shit, it was made for roasties who want him to be innocent even though they know he isn't, and if he isn't innocent then they at least want to pretend he hurt them and get to triumph over him with their self assurance at the end.
yet it utterly fails to say anything meaningful about that
......
why is netflix pushing white serial killers so hard?
ded pusy
yes but it wasn’t one of the major kill in the scheme of things and it lasted two seconds. this needed to be much earlier
it didn't need to be there at all, I would have more respect for the movie as fucking awful as it was if it at least had the integrity to never show him doing anything, since that would at least keep in line with its main theme
but nope, they fucked it, and the girl writing hacksaw on the glass was plain comical
Which one is his major kill ? His biggest rampage was in that sort of girl school in Florida and they talked about it a lot because of the teeths results
Movie was good not great, especially the cast.
And if you ADD zoomies want a serial killer movie that focuses on the killing there's a million of them already, amazing ones too. This was about Ted's relationships with his hoes and his cult of personality.
Blacks aren't very good at it.
the sorority attack was easily his big kill, the fact that he just ran into a packed sorority house while on the run as one of the FBIs ten most wanted with a fucking log and bashed and raped a bunch of girls killing 2 is just nuts
basically the biggest span of his crimes before he gets caught the first time is completely glanced over and the viewer is given almost no information about the crime
do you think it's viable that Bundy actually killed hundreds of women like his ex-lawyer claimed?
dude wtf why do redditors say satanic cults and snuff films were just conspiracy theorys
absolutely not. he probably did a few more than 30 but that number is completely unreasonable and doesn’t add up
Well yh it's much more intrsting that a white guy is a violent monster than if a black guy is
I thought it seemed like a lot, but I wasn't alive back then and I don't really know about just how lax the circumstances could have been in America at the time that someone could kill hundreds of people that go completely unnoticed, it doesn't seem probable but it seems plausible to me. I guess if there was going to be anyone to have done something like that then it would have been Bundy.
yeah that guy is a horrible actor. The woman that gave him up did a better job.
Remember when people pretended Efron was good for some reason?
The Deliberate Stranger, a 1986 two-part TV movie starring a young Mark Harmon as Ted Bundy, is actually really good.
My Friend Dahmer
I don't think so, also it was pretty common in the 80-end of the 90's to exaggerate the number of victims because they didn't have technologies and all that stuff of today
clockers
summer of sam
25th hour
inside man
1/10 made me reply
fyi the director made the docu first then this movie about the same events
original as fuck
Bundy was way to sloppy to have managed to kill over a hundred people.
that's why it seems too big, but that sloppiness came from his audaciousness and that's what makes him killing so many people seem plausible to me
Mindhunter season 2 fucking when?
I need my serialkillerkino
there is a timeline of states he has been to and there simply isn’t enough bodies or missing girls go constitute the possibility of a number near a hundred. i think there is 5 or so girls who he possibly could’ve killed but they can’t say for sure
that is what gary ridgeway aka the green river killer did. confessed to 70 murders of prostututes
he's a good example of just how prolific a killer can be without being detected, guys like him and H.H Holmes, and those two guys in south america who killed like 300 kids are some scary shit
what specifically do you disagree with and what is your opinion you brainlet?
also does anyone know how he had the time to do this shit? wasn’t he a truck driver and did his crimes on highways and shit? how did he hide the bodies and get to locations on time?
nobody cares about druggie prostitutes. bundy went after rich sorority girls and middle class types. harder targets
Yep especially he killed the daughter of a sheriff and that putted everyone on alert
that's the thing, if Bundy was also going after undesirables and people who nobody would notice if they went missing then he could have racked up a lot of murders, he was cagey about admitting his crimes too so who knows how many other souls he snuffed out in his early years
They all get sloppy with time, they're addicts who start looking for a fix quicker and quicker so they stop doing any planning.
Ted himself said that he got sloppier and sloppier as time went on cause of the urges.
I don't understand why they completely avoided showcasing how brutal and depraved he was? They glorified him and made him a sympathetic person. It's sad that the most interesting part of the movie was the real life footage in the credits
>black women sees bundy jump out the window
>cut to news footage
>”a man said he say bundy jump from a 2 story window”
no disagreements here my friend ;) :)
because it was made for f*males
huh
it was supposed to be about the drama and court cases
I cringed when Zac Efron replicated all of famous Bundy's mannerisms in court. All in all it's a movie that will appeal to only the lowest common denominator, it's a movie that you'd watch if you were really bored and wanted something to fall asleep to or to watch with a gf
how is dropping out of law school or becoming a drug addict wrong
and they couldn't even make that work
This was good.
It was kino because they made him look sympathetic, in contrast to all other movies.
Basedboy critics are dying because of this, go look at RT.
no, because it was not in a good and insightful sympathetic way that expands people's understanding of the mind of a sadistic and depraved serial murderer, it was in a "girls watching this movie want to fuck him and imagine what being in a relationship with him would be like" kind of way
