A movie with swords, and other things happen

Good.

kino
I wish there was more fantasy adventures on this level. Krull was decent but Conan is a 10

One of the greatest films ever made. Try to focus on the soundrack.

A decent movie. Its type doesn't get made nowadays so it'll get overhyped.

The only sword and sorcery movie that isn't massively flawed in some way.

Mankino of the highest caliber.

Flesh+Blood was kino too though check that one out
also Excalibur

A fun b-tier fantasy adventure movie that transcends to kino thanks to one of the greatest movie soundtracks ever.

>casting a sword in a fucking mold
0/10 do not watch

The soundtrack is fucking outstanding. The story is simple but tons of fun, the fight scenes are kino, James Earl Jones is god-tier, and it has the best Ahhnold reveal in the history of cinema, when he looks up from the wheel.

Fuck, I'm going to go watch it again now.

Sword & Sorcery Kino of the highest order, in the same tier as Excalibur and LOTR.

I play Riders of Doom at my D&D sessions all the time. It's fucking god-tier.

Great soundtrack
Arnold top of his game, role he was born to play
John Milius best film
Thulsa Doom greatest villain James Earl Jones ever played
The final battle
The lines
It's great, you are in for a treat

its a movie version of a dungeons and dragons campaign, one of greatest movies ever made

One of the greatest kinos of all time. Brace yourself.

I wish I could watch it for the first time again. I've lost count of how many times I've seen it by now, but it always brightened not only my day, but my month. The not so bright side is that it fueled by childhood fantasies of being a hero, but it turns out you can't make a difference in real life. But at least I turn on some Basil tunes at the end of the day to make it worth it.

I didn't like the violence.

Bad.

i still dont understand what thulsa doom was

Why did fantasy adventure movies die off?

a Frank Frazetta painting come to life

Spoilers for OP at least.

He was some kind of demon. I think at the end he's raising that vast horde of cultists to burn down what little there is of civilization. He may have realized that Conan was fated to destroy him so that's why he initiated his plan.

some kind of ESL course

Some fucking wizard who couldn't figure out how to make steel

How come we never got Conan the Conqueror?

Good times, goooood times. Also, Red Sonja is an unofficial Conan movie. (they couldn't get the rights)

Because Arnold became a politician and then retired.

You need good writers, not just CGI explosions.

>Mako's Elder God-tier intro/outro narration

I legit get chills just thinking about it.
