Pulp Fiction is the Coke of sodas, rain of favourite weather, autumn of favourite season, it's that kid in class during introductions where he tries to appear relatable yet unique (e.g. "I can't live without coffee, but it has to be Folgers"). Pulp Fiction is Tarantulas Trojan Horse, seemingly a quirky mob film, but what we have instead is a proto-reddit "medieval-on-your-ass" quipfest that feels like it's trapped on Gilligan's Island with unlimited seasons. Probably Lv.2 or Lv.3. Stranger Than Paradise is the only film I've seen by him.
