the entire movie to me was pretty unamazing and par for the corse, well made and decently written, BUT! the single moment, where Thanos looks up at nebula and begings to admit to her, that maybe he was too harsh with her, his mind finally free from his obsesive plan and speaking from the new perspective brought to him by nearly dying from trying to destroy the stones, only for Thor to decapitate him before he can say anything else was perfect. poor nebula, forever fucked by the universe. If this movie didn't have lazy man's time travel, he killing her past self, and erasing her self from the time stream would have been poetically beautiful.
